- One of the best LB to ever play in the NFL was Junior Seau. He shared his warm smile and joy with millions of fans and we will always miss and remember our 'Buddy'.

Rest in peace sir. Seemed like a good person
he was his impact on the field and outside the field left a legacy for everyone who was teammates with him and fans in general and it wasn't just the Chargers organization who held a tribute even the Patriots held a tribute during the preseason game against the Saints the crowd the roster Drew Brees who was Junior Seau's teammate when Brees was a Charger and well as Brady Edelman Welker Ninkovich Mayo Slater and Gostkowski who were his teammates when Seau was with the Patriots
Character comes from the mind. Personality comes from the mind. Courage comes from the mind. When the very thing that makes you who you are is deteriorating, all bets are off.
R.est I.n P.aradise Uce! You made all of us Polynesian Kidz know we had a chance to make the NFL! We all wanted to be you one day bruh!! 1 Luv #55
That's a guy that you can go to war with.. he was about building character by setting the example of selflessness for the benefit of the team. A superstar acting like an undrafted rookie looking to be at the very least a role player. RIP55
Wonderful man on earth !!!
Good Bless Junior Seau. great speech. very touching. I am filling up! thanks for the memories. such an awesome player and athlete. you will be sorely missed! #55 FOREVER!
he was one of the closest men to being perfect and how many lives have you changed
The music plays nicely along with the words here
Rip jr one of the best players ever
760 for Life Jr!!
Always on best behavior- he knew his kid foundation were watching him. He loved to help kids who were battered.
Oh, my, this is going to hurt for quite a long time. Such an enormous loss.
I'm a USC alumn. I only wear my 55 USC jersey during college season
real talk from a real man
R.I.P. JS55
685 for life 💯 🇼🇸
Seau was the fucking man. Wow. Such a beast and so inspiring!
REST IN LOVE MY USO. MUCH ALOFAS FOR YOU AND YOUR AGIA USO.
Junior is a team player.
Although I am not going to curse in this comment, I am absolutely sure you have never known anyone to have depression because depression one of the most difficult things to go through. When you have depression for a prolonged period of time, it starts to affect your physiology too :central nervous system, peripheral nervous system, endocrine just to name a few. Imagine having those systems in your body compromised, let alone the spiritual and emotional hell you are going through.
R.I.P. Junior Seau
Seau did not leave a suicide note at home, he did scribble lyrics to one of his favorite songs, a country ballad called "Who I Ain't." Look it up to get an idea of what seau really was dealing with. God Bless You.
such a loss. Dammit!
if they won superbowl 42 i bey things would be different i feel his pain about that still it reallllly hurts
one hell of a guy too
R.I.P #55
If he hadn't been so self centered he wouldn't have committed suicide. The man was just thinking about himself. What a loss for those who admired him.
RayWilliamJohnson, your comment shows you never met Junior!! First of all, he is not burning in hell...why? Because Jesus Christ died for him on the cross. Also, anyone who ever met Junior will tell you of his warmth, kindness, sweetness, charm and grace!! Those are all very special things about him. He was also very generous.
It's alarming that ANYONE would think that just because nobody officially "recorded" a concussion that he didn't get his head beat in on a regular basis for more than 20 years. That's just the type of blind ignorance that we DON'T need. I suspect Mrs. VirtualJourney watches girls' softball.
Listening to this and I just don't get it. (smh) RIP Junior Seau. Manuia lou Malaga.
He should have gotten a ring. He and randy moss. That 2007 team was robbed
Too bad he didnt have the courage to face his problems and stay around for his 3 kids and grandchildren. Fantastic player but I have no sympathy for suicide.
People have real problems ,just look at how much money the alcohol industry makes , it was a selfish act , but humans have problems and mental issues , afraid to ask for help because society is so TMZ these days.. awful for his children, his mom, and for him ...
Was he a mild mannered guy?
Cowards way out..I used to respect this guy too..selfish,sad,and troubling..
His action today is a complete contradiction to his message
I love the way he goes "What Bill needs is the box..." and then immediately.... "He'll tell me what he needs." Such a selfless player, person, and teammate. U can't coach respect either... but I got a whole heap for that man. RIP Jr.
He was so good at hiding his problems and suffering. RIP to my favorite player
One of the most selfless football players to ever play the sport 😢
May he Rest In Peace ✌️ 🏈
And the tallent ?
Love listening to him talk.. A great man!!! One of the best LB to ever do it. RIP Junior Seau
Junior Seau was a New England Patriot and I will always have respect for him R. I. P. Buddy 55
Jose Lopez see l never knew that and l currently reside in Boston lm not also a die hard fanatic either.
There should be another honor in the hall of fame for players like Seau, a man of God for sure
SEAU ETERNAL.... 619 MISSES U..
fucking G.O.A.T. greatest of all time I'm happy Junior Seau was a Patriot R.I.P. buddy
I saw him play against the bears once at Jack Murphy Stadium. I liked this guy allot. Im sorry he left us the way he did. Rest in peace good man.
It was that 1st game of a season ? So hot in san diego and the people waa fighting like crazy . Even i , heat was making people drink a lot and like mad , it was that day , we beat the bears , but not even with raiders. , steelers , broncos i saw that kind of people making trouble , even i was in a brawl ,it was that game sept i think late 90s?
Junior at the begining was a star , lot of support of leslie o,neal , Plummer a year only , smith , then others came , but then he was left alone , then he got good help with shotenheimer, then he was traded , but his home will always be SD chargers , no stadium but still a hero
REST IN PARADISE USO
I am happy he was a Patriot R.I.P. Junior Seau
Am still a fan of Junior Seau, even though he has been spoken bad of by some major media sites and stations. -Paul Harvey
one of my heroes when playing HS football.. I have no intention of feeding the trolls.. Only thing I say is a hero dies one death, while a coward dies a thousand.. I feel bad for those negatively commenting on this great man. Everyone has their demons, the cowards will never understand and just poke fun. They haven't taken the chances or had the talent that #55 had.. We know it, most importantly however sadly, these cowards also know it.. Only a loser would go on a memorial video and hate
That's probably how those idiots were raised by their parents. Only God knew what Junior had been facing, no man will ever understand....RIP humble man of God
CHAMPION
9yr old video...here's a true J.S. story, I was at Camp Pen CA me an a Marine buddy were in Oceanside CA and a big ass RV broke down in intersection, we get out to help push it outta the way, thing was BIG....all of a sudden it starts moving much easier, I look right or left can't recall and it's J.S. helping us push....beleive me or not this was 1997 and the dude took me and R.J. to brunch!
IM NOT A CHARGERS FAN I CANT STAND THEM !! BUT ID LIKE TO SAY JUNIOR SEAU WAS A AWSOME PLAYER TOP 3 LINEBACKER ALL TIME !! IM A RAIDERS FAN TILL THE DAY I DIE!! I WOULD HAVE LOVED TO HAVE THIS GUY ON OUR TEAM HE WOULD HAVE BEEN JUST WHAT THE RAIDERS NEEDED TO LEAD US BACK IN TO THE SUPER BOWL ! R.I.P. JUNIOR SEAU

- Junior Seau
His suicide was sadly the first early CTE loss that the NFL couldn’t avoid…still makes me cry remembering hearing he took his own life cause his brain was hurt
Dude imagine the man that has more tackles in NFL history is saying “hey man I’m here to be a plumber.” Whatever you need me to do. That is why Bill said Junior is the hall of fame.
Cte brain damage tbi
This gave me chills
RIP Seau. We will never forget.
You are the best
Amazing Story and Praise God he change your Life Story❤🙏
One game he was injured and couldn't move one arm. He said I'll just run into people!
I remember Junior Seau as the ultimate Linebacker he was truly one of the best to ever play the game. Its very sad that he is gone, I was never a Chargers fan but always a Junior Seau fan.
It's sick that the world has to live with people like you.....this man changed so many lives and always cared more about others than himself. He revolutionized the sport and the way people perceive it. Remember.....this is coming from a Kansas City Chiefs fan. The only thing I hate more than the Chargers are the Raiders. So with all do respect......burn in hell......
Rest In Peace Junior.....we'll miss you brah.
whats the matter with you! how can you say fuck him? the fact that you write things like you write just show all those drugs you have done have screwed with your brain, just because you sound all righteous doesn't justify you cursing out a person that has passed, especially a person who was beloved by his friends and family, i cant judge seau for what he did cause he had his reasons, nobody really understand what was plaguing this man. His family has suffered, but maybe he suffered even more
I'm sorry, he's dead... by his own doing... If he were going through tough times, he should have seeked help. But he didn't, and he let it get to him. If he were some bum, no one would care. The point is this, no matter how tough life is, you don't commit suicide. A couple of days before his death, he was texting loved ones saying "I love you" He was obviously contemplating suicide then. Call me all of the names in the book, Seau, and all others that commit suicide, won't get my remorse.
Junior Seau was the best - absolutely a hero. I created a song in Garageband. If you want to check it out visit my channel or search for: JUNIOR Seau RIP memory tribute song.
Boston University is the leading university that studies the brains of people who have had multiple concussion, who have post concussion syndrome. There is conclusive evidence that brains who have CTE have suffered multiple concussion. The Seau family has donated Junior's brain to Boston University.
unfortunately, you, are what is sad...people in their 'right-mind' do not take their own life.
Sadly, Mr. Seau was deeply troubled by something & it's a shame he wasn't able to aquire help for that, before it was too late.
RIP Junior...prayers are with your family & friends.
Something apparently that you lack. The characteristics of the mind are all made possible by the human brain, which is the actual organ that is being deteriorated. I didn't think I would have to spell it out for you.
@Lipenstein: I hope you never have to go through the pain of losing someone who commits suicide. It is an unimaginable pain that you never get over. You should really think twice before posting such vitriolic hate.
He must have broke through the glass... I show no remorse for people who take their own lives. Sorry, I just can't respect that. The only people he hurts are the ones he left behind. Selfish, cowardly, and just sad.
i was one of those kids he reached out to i was invited 2 a christmas party he and the chargers were hosting,he was very nice talked 2 me and took a picture with me and gave me his autograph i will never forget that day,i cried when i found out he died...
Junior sounds pretty articulate and intelligent. He could of done somethingelse instead football all his life. Man I feel bad for him. Depression is not a joke
It is fun to hide behind your keyboard and ack like a jackass because you do not have to answer for your stupidity. RIP Junior#55 we love and miss you
Gone but never forgotten. R.I.P to one of the greatest on and off the field guys ever.
E le mafai ona e aʻoaʻoina le lototele- fa'afetai
Keep the negative comments to yourself. RIP Junior... He was a good guy on and off the field
as much as i think suicide is wrong, i also know not to judge this man RIP junior.
Where is that speech when he gets hot about ftball and almost cries? Awesome.
I don't believe he killed himself...more like someone killed him
In another few years, I'm going to watch his induction into the HoF and cry the whole time. I'm guessing so will everyone else.
Is it me or his voice didn’t match his face at all
Patriots dedicate the 2012 to seau lets take it to another level for him.
1.Go on twitter
2.tweet #ForJuniorSeau
3.make it trend baby!
just watching this video and when he mentioned that this ain't the time to celebrate it's time to go to work during this press conference with the Patriots news media I feel like this has got to be a huge impact on the do your job motto for the Patriots Junior Seau 55 you were the greatest RIP
Shame on you for speaking badly about someone who is no longer here.
i don't mean to sound stupid, but what does he mean by "break glass"?
chheeeee uuuuuu! rest in samoa!!! :)

I was sitting in the bar at Seau’s when a young girl was being interviewed for a server position, when the interviewer asked her if she would like to meet Junior. He came out and was the nicest dude to that girl, and just seemed like that with everyone. She couldn’t believe it, and everyone one was like, yup, that’s Junior.
R.I.P Hall of Fame 2015
Caught me off guard when he said he's too old to be excited.... Almost like he wasn't playing because he loved it, he was playing because it was his identity. Thank you for the post.
RIP Junior Seau
