I am staying in a 3 floor house. With 10 cm copper coil(diameter pencil size) as antenna it is perfectly showing to the receiver at the ground floor
I assembled this for 2 storey house and LEDs are at the ground floor and is perfectly working fine. Max range i didnt try

If the transmitter is in the over head tank first floor top. And the reciver is in the basement is it work well. The distance is about 35 more.
My tank is in thrid floor terrace and the receiver is at ground floor and is working perfectly fine with 15cm antenna
Shouldn't the buzzer sound to warn you of water level low? So now it's buzzing on water level full, how long will this buzzing sound stay on for?
You can provide an on off switch to the buzzer. If you r manually switching the motor it will help u when to stop.

Can't we use ULN 2003 instead of 4 bc547?
If someone brings out pcb it will be very useful.... Just plug and play components clean and tidy....
Yes you can use ULN2003A but cost wise 4 bc547 is much cheaper. Let me check whether i can help you on PCB. Very long back i used to design the pcb using kicadd software. Give me some time whether any of my freinds can help you designing this.

I have made my own using these components.
# 433mhz RF module for wireless communication,
# two arduino nano,
# one HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor to check water level in the tank,
# one relay to actuate motor,
# 16x2 lcd (i2c) it shows the percentage of water in the tank,
# one touch sensor to turn-on motor, # rgb led to indicate water level,
# two Hi-link SMPS to power both setups one in the tank and another near motor or wherever u want to place in the house....
#when i touch the surface of touch sensor motor turns-on when water level reaches 100% then motor turns-off automatically. I have been using it since last two months and its working perfectly. I also made it for my friend he is satisfied with that too

No this is not expensive. I am staying in a 3 storeyed building and my water tank is at the terrece . The level indicator is at the ground floor. I need to use high quality long wires . Bcoz these wires is well explosed to sunlight and rain. We can reduce those issues by using this. Please consider long term use . Thanks you very much that you love this idea.

My building has 8 water tanks. How can this circuit be modified to give alarm when water level is low? Please let me know.
Please let me know whether all water tanks are placed in same plain and near to each other. If yes then most probably all pipe connections to the tank will be paralleley connected. Then water level will be same on all tanks. My guess is correct or not.
@@TechInsert Yes all the tanks are on the same floor. Each tank should have a different LED. Can only one buzzer be used? Also after the buzzer goes off, when water reaches dead level, we should turn off with a button.
Can you do this on a PCB? as in real life we can't leave it naked like that except you put the tank inside your home.
Will try, I am not expert in pcb designing. Very long back I done using kicad software. Earlier I was assembling everything in common dot board, and so many peoples complained that they are not good is assembling to common board by looking into circuit. They are newbies in electronics and that is why I am sodreing direly to pin of components.
You can try in common board. I assembled everything in dot common board and is working fine. Its being working since 3 week. So far no issues. Water terminals are made up of stainless steel. No corrosion till now. I used 4 nos ( I felt 2 is enough) of 2000mAh batteries in parallel and used 4 solar panels in parallel.

Solar panel is a fear for me. I may sound a bit silly but in rainy season no sun would be visible then how could the transmitter module work sir.
This will use less current. So this will last long

But you need to regulate the voltage to below 5v for the transceiver. Transmitter and receiver should get max 5v and anything more will damage those module

This is because the wireless transmitter has not been bound with the receiver. Please check whether the transceiver is working. Which transceiver module you have used, the same which is in video or the one with an adjustable core coil.

@@ecj1986 Mostly that seems to be faulty. Or check the voltage at the transmitter and never give more than 5 v . 5.1v will also make it faulty

I tried 4 floor high. I used 15cm 24SWG copper coil as antenna. Coiled using refiller of pen. Working without any flaws

Signal LED glow means your reciver is binded to the transmitter which means your receiver is ready to accept signal from the transmitter. What is the issue, is the transmitter and receiver working. You can disconnect the switching circuit and test this.

You have to connect it to a monostable multivibrator. Simply a timer using 555 ic

6volts panel with how many watts can be used and also please inform how to switch off Buzzer sound when the tank is full.
50-100ma. You can make use of a switch or even a timer to switch off after it starts alarm
