What's the point of recording a voiceover to your avatar, when it's easier just to record the whole thing in a traditional way? It's not an easy workflow.
Looking neat and playing with right now. The last step, using your own voice is interesting. Is this actually workable yet, I don't seem to be able to drag an audio file (e.g. mp3) onto the script area (where I would normally place text). Where are you dragging the file from - outside of your window? Or from within Synthesia ? Thanks, Mark.
Hi Mark, the feature to drag and drop audio files into the script area for Avatar Lip Syncing is currently exclusive to the Enterprise plan. I've passed your comment back on to the team in hopes of making in more available. Thanks for watching! - Alec
@synthesia-io thx for reply. I am really enjoying using this service, I have the creator plan, based in the UK. I must say that the above option, and things like adding a logo to a shirt being reserved for enterprise is a bit mean ! Enterprise seems to be about huge scale with open ended pricing (perhaps), whereas with Creator plan I am more likely to be a single business, with clearly defined number of video per year (360 mins is plenty). But not being able to at a logo to a shirt on this plan seems a little bit annoying. Still, I have been very surprised how good the personal avatar was, apart from me waving hands around too much (I uploaded a training video to use as avatar material). Look forward to see what you come up with next. Mark
Synthesia's Personal Avatars can be filmed from different angles, and they don't always have to look straight at the camera. However, it's important to ensure both eyes and the mouth are clearly visible for the best results. Thanks for watching!
There's nothing to worry about as Synthesia takes avatar security and misuse prevention very seriously. There are robust safeguards in place to prevent unauthorized access or misuse of your avatar, including consent-based creation, secure storage, and user control over avatar usage. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
@@synthesia-io with data breaches seeming to have become everyday worries, I still am concerned about this. It seems like every company that has had a data breach told their customers the same thing ("robust safeguards", etc.) before they had their data breach.

Thanks, Alec! super interesting trying it now
Thanks for watching!
0:34 left is real, right is avatar. Much harder to spot if only the avatar is shown though.
Correct! Thank you for watching!

Its more time consuming…
It’s optional, you can simply make your avatar speak by typing in the text.

It's not a clone of MYSELF. It's a digital clone of ME.
Oops 🫣
Can it look around naturally or can it be viewed at an angle or will it always stare straight at the camera?

how much do I need to worry about someone else getting ahold of my avatar and doing mischief with it?
