Hello 👋👋. I’ve only just found this craft myself a lovely subscriber told me about it. Then when I watches in what you had to do I loved it. 🥰🥰🥰. Thank you for your kind comment 💜💜💜
Hello Jacky 👋👋. I hadn’t heard of it either then when someone made a comment on one of my other videos I had to have a look, once I’d seen what it involved I loved it and yet again it’s something nice and easy to x x x x 🥰🥰🥰. Thank you for your kind comment x x x 💖💖💖
You are a braver woman than I was over 15 years ago when I started card making and added tea bag folds as my centre piece. I had seen a demonstration on one of the TV craft channels and became intrigued and hooked. At that time there were a plethora of square tea bag paper designs you could download from the Internet so I just used 80 gsm copy paper to print on to. The art of kaleidoscopic origami tea bag folding is credited to Dutch artist Tiny van der Plas, who developed the technique in 1992. She was in need of a unique and decorative birthday card and folded 8 tea bag wrapper envelopes, and using origami folds, tea bag folded medallions were born. The papers I used were 1 - 2" squares and symmetrically patterned (like the patterns looking through a kaleidoscope makes). I commented on your video when you demonstrated a folded star that I used to do tea bag folding so understood the folds you were making. You are an extremely patient, well-spoken, clear, and understandable demonstrator in all that you video Sammie.
