I admire the beautiful preservation of their cultural artifacts for the younger Ivorian generation to see how life was back in those days. Grand Bassam has lots of French colonial architectures. Wow! That’s some good food. Thanks Stella. 👍🏿🇺🇸
Nice video! I wish you had a tour guide to explain the meaning of the various artifacts, and to tell us about the old building. The food looks good, and the presentation is excellent. I Big Up the waiter!
Another great content!! Please be mindful when flying a Drone in Cote D'ivoire cause they are banned over there! Just so u won't get in any trouble😊 stay blessed 🙏
Akans are in Ivory Coast too. Most of them migrated from Ghana before colonization. We are all the same people. Just like the Ewes in both Ghana and Togo.
The effort on this content is great💯. 20mins worth✅ it and I am so happy making this experience with you through this video. Thank you Stella for sharing this with us✨🌹
Grand Bassam is in the Akan speaking region of Cote d'Ivoire. Granted that you may not be Akan but did they explore whether a tour guide in a local language such as Twi, Nzema Ebrie was available ? This is where we shoot ourselves in the foot we dont try to make our languages relevant
@@diguiolainc7930 it is not just Akans that were divided by the arbitrary lines drawn up by europeans. There are others such as the Banda. All one family though !
Well, now I see why that call that province/village, I-be-dammed. Gosh gosh, Ibedammed is too expensive to eat there. Almost 50 dollars for two to eat some yams, burger, and what have you.
Grand Bassam was part of Ghana's territory the British handed over to the French. From Bondouku, Agniblikro, Agbengorou to Grand Bassam were all part of Ashanti territory
Ghana did not exist until 1957 Nor is it Asante territory It may have been part of the Asante empire for a short while but not at the time the europeans divided it I believe Grand Bassam is part of Ebrie territory who are Akan, although there are a lot of Nzemas there.
Not me dancing to your background beat 😂😂.

When People say Ivory Coast 🇨🇮 has been built by France 🇫🇷 this is the city that France built in colonial time and that’s it.
Yep 👍🏾
Ivory Coast 🇨🇮 are just Ghanaians
Lovely
They're not Ghanaians but 37% - 42% of the population is Akan.
