Hello Kats_clas , you are great just like Emelia Hartford you both are Excellent in fixing cars .... I'm happy you painted the oil pan the same color and that is a gorgeous 1967 ford mustang as you are too , keep working on your mustang until it is completely new from the bottom and top of the car ....

Thanks for the video ...nice job...BTW...1967 Mustang used "Old Ford Blue" for engine paint which is the darker blue...that lighter color came later

You too loves the classics, The Mustang made that you improve your skills...Thanks for the motivation, some day I do it the same...

Sweetheart….I would just make one suggestion…..tie your hair up or wear a ball cap. You really don’t want long hair working around cars ….especially if they’re running. Plus a hat helps keep grease, oil and dirt out as well. Other than that…..fantastic job and video. I commend you for your hard work, dedication and love of cars. Keep those videos coming!

Gonna do the same project on my 68 now. The reason I did not want to commit to this task before this video was that I did not want to have to mess with the steering mech. Now that I know that all I have to do is remove the suspension cross member and unbolt the oil pan, it's worth it. Your effort is very inspiring. Good luck with your channel

I'm speechless......................... Oh ya, that's the first FORD video I have ever watched all the through. It was refreshing to see the effort you put into your the car. Something that will help you out immensely working on these old cars is an impact wrench. I use a 20 volt DeWalt because it's worth it's weight in gold in the junk yard too! Also, the 5qt jugs of oil are perfect to refill with your old oil to recycle.
Anyway, you have some of the coolest hair I have ever seen! Just a little tip.... If you ever decide to use a creeper PUT YOUR IT UP & OUT OF THE WAY because when it gets caught in the wheels (and it will) your screwed... you wont be able to move an inch any which way until someone is close enough to hear you screaming. Don't ask how I know that. It may or may not have happened to me once or twice? That reminds me, I was very impressed at the way you controlled your temper because anyone who has ever worked on a 50 year old car KNOWS how difficult that can be. Then again, that's why we edit isn't it? ;)

I am doing the same job right now. Tip: Don't waste the time with a mere *electric* drill.
I loosened the bolts on the crossmember--with a breakerbar, and my universal tool: "Mr Snappy."
Mr Snappy is a 30 inch galvanized iron pipe...His turn ons are loosening stuck bolts, and anyone who appreciates loosening stuck bolts.
It took a few turns-before I could get my Milwaukee M18 Impact Driver-to move either bolt.

Great first vid, Kathryn! I'm sure you'll be your own self-critic and figure out ways to make them even better.
I remember when I was a uni student and doing part time work at Dunlop I had to sand blast all the brass fittings off a boiler being refurbished. Gotta love the way sand blasting transforms old and cruddy into sparkling new(-ish). Now many years later I might try sand blasting on my face.
    Or, y'know, not... :)
