It makes the most sense to risk it for the rune crossbow since the goal is a fire cape. If you dont have the best odds for the firecape, you are risking far more when it comes time by lacking gear. This is tanking the risk early in order to get less risk where it really counts

The Kandarin Headgear is an always on lightsource that you don't need to wear and doesn't trigger gas. I don't know if you can do the diary safely, but if you can you might want to get it in case slayer takes you back to the accursed cave.
You cannot do the diary risk free. It requires you do an agility shortcut that has a chance to fail and give you damage, and training agility is nigh impossible without taking any damage.
@@purge2202and i think there are some shortcuts that always have a decently high chance of failing. my agility’s in the 90’s and the karamja stepping stones always mess me up, and i think they only require like 20 or 40 or something

Love all of these, really motivated me to get back into osrs. I've never gotten very far in osrs, but this has inspired me to dust off my 1k skill HCIM to experience it. Don't really care if I die at some point, I just want to see how far I can get without dying. The main goal is for me to be an ironman so I'm forced to experience a ton of the content to progress. It's great to see how far off the beaten path you go to get something, because that gives me some awareness to weird things that people don't do anymore. My account isn't efficient in anyway... but I get to see an absurd amount of content doing it. Played a lot of WoW over the years and it's a breath of fresh air going to old content and seeing that it's still useful. Thanks for the inspiration :)

Love all of these, really motivated me to get back into osrs. I've never gotten very far in osrs, but this has inspired me to dust off my 1k skill HCIM to experience it.
Don't really care if I die at some point, I just want to see how far I can get without dying. The main goal is for me to be an ironman so I'm forced to experience a ton of the content to progress. It's great to see how far off the beaten path you go to get something, because that gives me some awareness to weird things that people don't do anymore.
My account isn't efficient in anyway... but I get to see an absurd amount of content doing it. Played a lot of WoW over the years and it's a breath of fresh air going to old content and seeing that it's still useful.

That was a really good tele, I think there may have been a chance that you path back the way you came around the rocks, directly back into the Rain of knowledge. (didnt happen, but you were probably close). Good tele IMO.
