      This is very simple as N 8s more basic as compare to O so it react in preference

      Dear LAH is a strong reducing agent reducing numerous functional group, NO2 is reduced to NH2 by it but OH can be reduced further

      Yeah you are right in this case that aromatic Nitro are converted to azo via LAH, you can use sn/acid in place of that
