During reduction why oh group can not reduce but no2 is reduce
Dear LAH is a strong reducing agent reducing numerous functional group, NO2 is reduced to NH2 by it but OH can be reduced further
Aromatic nitro compound on reduction with lAH gives us azo compound not amine
Ha aliphatic nitro compound can be reduce bya LAH to amine
Yeah you are right in this case that aromatic Nitro are converted to azo via LAH, you can use sn/acid in place of that
