It's more the developer probably gave money to a third party company to promote their game. Usually giving 'free' steam keys for people to give a positive review of the game. Usually, giving these keys to kids who just want to bolster up their steam library of games. Technically since steam is cracking down on games with AI art they do not own. Wouldn't this game itself go under the same scrutany? Or is it more that since the game is required to be a live stream thing within a window. That they are bypassing some loophole?
For some people, i suspect, it may be impossible to admit to themselves, let alone anyone else that they are awfull. I reckon that may lie near to or is indeed the cause for such lashing out, that and obviously the power without control allotted by questionable systems. I would love to see for example companies that do clearly claim videos for profit to not only go under but become example for law, have the individuals ultimately responsible be given prison time and other such punishment. You know shake those who shake down other, more creative individuals. Anyways subscribed to Jauwn, and quite enjoying the channel (apparently YT decided to unsub be between yesterday's video and today's... because YT). thank you for good recommendation i shalt laugh at NFT games and dream of Jauwn / Callum collab.
If i may be honest, i wasnt expecting the developer to coopweate with you or anyone. He wants to just hide away while silencing those critical of his flop of an ARG shitter scam. Dude even admitted that it wasnt for copyright reasons and that should 100% by used in the counter appeal that by his own admission that it was spurious and in bad faith and should be overturned. I know you will go through hell or high water to help people and it is with great hope that you can do it again. These people are being attacked all because they shined a light on a very bad person and are being punished BY that bad person because the DMCA has no reinforcement when it comes to youtube.
If you feel someone has defamed you (or your brand), refer to defamation law (though winning a defamation suit, at least in the US is notoriously difficult). The DMCA is a part of Copyright law. Why don't people understand that?
It's one of 2 things. They are completely ignorant of the law or the DMCA mechanisms work faster than a defamation lawsuit does so they go that route, not knowing and or not caring that they are violating the law by using a DMCA take down illegally.
There's 2 reasons people don't understand that: A: Most people are getting less intelligent by the second. And B: Because of that diminishing intelligence, they are more guided by how they 'feel' rather than what is actually so.
When I saw the amazing games made in Turkey, I had hope for the game industry here. But when I saw this, nope. We are doomed! As someone learning game development, I'm disgusted by this game and frustrated that this even exists.
This video should be renamed to OK Google, what is the definition of 'perjury'? Honestly, the admission of perjury should have them suspended off Steam and TH-cam both.
The game industry in Turkey is really low in terms of popularity and budget, therefore some people go ahead and go on "the easy ways" to get some money for cheap. Although not all games made in Turkey are like this, it's just the majority scamming other people for literally easy cash. That's literally a typical easy cash person moment for me, and this is what makes me sad. Ruining the reputation of Turks trying to lead the game industry. Hope they get what they deserve after all this scamming. You're doing a great job, SidAlpha. Unfortunately, there's a fact that no one can change people's thoughts if the person is known for something illegal, it's up to the community to stop them. Looking forward to the next videos.
Question to everyone in the comment section anyone else planning to watch the video to see if youtube fails again by falsely taking down a video? I head back to the video now to see if the abuse goes through.
These scumbag alternative developers are still on Epic as of today at 1pm central. Along with positive reviews. I mentioned this in Juawn's channel on his video posted 6 days ago. I guess I'm spreading distorted facts. Maybe irrelevant facts would be more appropriate. If we wait long enough I'm sure this will be discounted to $0 and somehow have an in-game store where you can buy something that's like an NFT but not really.
It's not misinformation if it's based on the truth/facts. And not on half-truths (or half-facts) either, like some people like to apply it to. Oh boy. Can't wait to see where this is going... oh right, the next video awaits.
I thought NFT "Games" are not allowed on Steam 🤔 After all. They are a VIDEO GAME STORE PLATFORM. Not an NFT Store Front. And they stated they won't allow NTFs. Soooo...maybe Steam should ban them for that fact alone.
Not sure if you'd like it but what if instead of incorrect footage of a different game, maybe you could just have some footage of clouds slowly passing, drone footage of a busy city street, or the waves rolling at a beach.... You could possibly even keep a small library of clips to try and pick something that fits the emotion and topic of the video or segments within... Thunder storm rolling in for stuff that's troubling, a sunrise for good things beginning, etc. Personally it doesn't bother me too much as I usually turn the screen off and just listen, so I don't see the unrelated footage. But when I do have the screen on, I agree if can be very confusing at times to have some other random game on screen while talking about a bad developer.
There's no point, you'd only be able to sue for actual damages. Not only do YT videos make very little money, but it's very hard to prove in court, "Well, my video would have made $XXXXX if it was up". The cherry on top is that it's more than likely that the cost of hiring a lawyer to draft and pursue the complaint would be much more than any damages recovered.
@@Brigand231 Yeah. What needs to be done, is DMCA declared unconstitutional. Because it is. It assumes guilt of the accused (uploader), punishing them, THEN expecting them to fight upstream in court to prove their innocence AFTER said punishment (and in which case, there's little to nothing they can then gain for all the trouble & cost). That's the complete opposite of how every other major legal process is supposed to go. It's only a thing because of the other unconstitutional allowance: Lobbying (legal bribery) by big businesses. The other thing that should not be.
@@ZaCloud-Animations___she-her Spot on! It's poorly written and effectively puts the burden of proof on the accused. It's "good"(?) that it's easy for someone to vindicate their rights, but it's ridiculous how it's being abused. Access to justice should work both ways.

I prefer the wrong gameplay in the background, not that I personally ever remember complaining about it. I have no idea whatever the fuck was going on in the background of this one, it was hard to pay attention because of how confusing it was. I feel like I've taken less away from this video then I could have and I don't feel like rewatching it cause it looked like a hot mess with all the popping text and random shit going on :p What you had going on was effective, whenever you wanted to show us something you wanted to point out you showed us the exact thing on the screen and highlighted it as you normally do. When you were done with that and in between things you'd just have the random gaming footage. Not confusing, not irrelevant, not bad. Unlike this one :p I feel like if people need so desperately to be entertained by background noise that they can't be satisfied with gaming footage, however random, then maybe they aren't paying attention to what's going on anyway and aren't really the audience that will walk away from your videos more informed. EDIT: Perhaps a solution that satisfies everyone would be to make a gaming video or playthrough once a month or so of some game you like, while you talk/vent about gaming and copyright law and other related topics that you care about and then just use the footage from those games in your videos, that way the people complaining can have gaming footage that isn't random to distract them and the adults in the room can enjoy your videos in peace without being visually assaulted by our own screens. Jokes aside I'm not gonna tell you what to do, but you shouldn't be afraid to tell your audience to fuck off, including me. They don't know what the fuck they want and most of the time when people complain it's just because they want to feel like they're somehow contributing to your channel so they can pat themselves on the back and feel productive. If your plan is to do this full time then you can't be listening to every critic or you'll be burnt out chasing your own tail. Over time the numbers will prove what works and what doesn't but the most important thing is that you're happy with what you're doing, otherwise what the fuck is the point?
They’re not game devs, they’re scammers. Scammers use any and all methods available, these just so happen to pretend to be „indie devs“. It’s camouflage. Don’t fall for it.
Indie devs, for the most part, make games because they have an idea they want to share with the world. The money is (usually) secondary, in exchange for all the work & time they put into them, out of basic necessity. Scammers make "games" to make money. The ideas only form to meet that end.
I'm personally less concerned about the b-roll existing, more bothered that it's been FFXVI, which won't be out on PC for a while and I've been trying to avoid footage of it.
Your wrong about the definition of defamation, your thinking of slander. Defamation doesn’t have to be false info it just needs to be provable in court to a jury that you distributed the information for the sole purpose of “defaming” someone and to profit off hurting someones public image or career and hurt them financially. That’s one of the things that hulk hogan used to win against gawker despite the fact that what he did was true and caught on tape, and what John Depp sued Amber herd for rather than slander because after the court in the Uk found him guilty of abuse he assumed the US court would think it was true and believe he abused her. It’s far easier to prove defamation than slander and many people in court have learned the hard way that even if the info is true you can still lose in court.
Your also wrong in a way since laws vary dramatically from location to location. In one place, defamation might require proof of it being untrue, proof it caused harm, proof the publisher should have been aware it wasn't true, and obviously proof of who actually published it. In other places, like you said, it just has to cause a likely harm in reputation. Since this developer is in Turkey apparently, no US state law would apply.

I watched the original video. Good stuff.
same
It's more the developer probably gave money to a third party company to promote their game.
Anyways subscribed to Jauwn, and quite enjoying the channel (apparently YT decided to unsub be between yesterday's video and today's... because YT). thank you for good recommendation i shalt laugh at NFT games and dream of Jauwn / Callum collab.
this should be reported as steam also blocks NFT and AI art based games
Ahh the classic 'Self Report'
I Don't mind the b roll
"Fair use means you have to be fair!"
Maybe we should report blast the game on steam
I just got done reporting the game as fraud and mentioned the devs abuse of DMCA
@@Dragonrealms245 Mass report the game. Hopefully they lose their game and get it taken down.
Also, if memory serves, Izmir is a tourist destination in Turkey.
If I wanted to vacation in a safer Turkey, just need to play Assassin's Creed: Revelations.
commenting for the algorithm god
As a Turk myself I feel ashamed! These jagoffs deserve the backlash and steam should erase there game!
@@slackerdc The former sounds likely, tbh
There's 2 reasons people don't understand that:
A: Most people are getting less intelligent by the second.
And B: Because of that diminishing intelligence, they are more guided by how they 'feel' rather than what is actually so.
It's easier to win a defamation lawsuit in the USA than it is in the UK
Looks like they did not remove the strike, the video went down from Jauwn. Seems playing dirty worked, for now.
I guess it's time to track down the development and have a discussion.
@@Aereto Time to pressure Valve.

Maybe the Devs are friends with Ethan Klein? He's friends with the TH-cam CEO and can do/say whatever he wants on here.
It's still here for now but it's probably getting taken down tonight.
@jauwn sorry to hear about that man. Here's hoping that you can re-upload it and kick this developers ass in his own game.
My opninion is not information.
post hoc ergo propter hoc. after it therefore because of it. for anyone without some Latin knowledge.
It's not misinformation if it's based on the truth/facts. And not on half-truths (or half-facts) either, like some people like to apply it to.
Oh boy. Can't wait to see where this is going... oh right, the next video awaits.
I have no issues with what you use for video.... 1. Its your video, do what you wany 2. I mostly listen to your vids
JAUWN ARMY!
You are Sid Alpha and you are a machine, Keep up the awesome work.
I thought NFT "Games" are not allowed on Steam 🤔 After all. They are a VIDEO GAME STORE PLATFORM. Not an NFT Store Front. And they stated they won't allow NTFs. Soooo...maybe Steam should ban them for that fact alone.
I quite enjoyed the Final Fantasy gameplay, it was just distracting as it was very interesting.
While it's interesting I'm not that far and it's kinda made me sad. I don't want any spoilers so I have to listen to this without watching
Can you please look into Wrath: Aeon Of Ruin? Something VERY shady is going on there
What's going on in there? 3d Realms are a pretty stable and trusty studio. As far as I know.
Jauwn's Army! Well.. he asked for it so here I am ;)
Can ark be next in your dirty devs vidoes?
Not sure if you'd like it but what if instead of incorrect footage of a different game, maybe you could just have some footage of clouds slowly passing, drone footage of a busy city street, or the waves rolling at a beach.... You could possibly even keep a small library of clips to try and pick something that fits the emotion and topic of the video or segments within... Thunder storm rolling in for stuff that's troubling, a sunrise for good things beginning, etc.
Personally it doesn't bother me too much as I usually turn the screen off and just listen, so I don't see the unrelated footage. But when I do have the screen on, I agree if can be very confusing at times to have some other random game on screen while talking about a bad developer.
could sue youtube for abuse of the dmca if you name both devs and youtube probs the only way you would make any traction
TH-cam just needs to have someone watch all of Sid's videos to see if there's any situation that needs fixing.
Good idea.
Sadly, that means they'd have to do actual work.
And we know that TH-cam hates to do actual work.
Yeah puzzling 80% positive review...

1:45 The problem is you showing footage of a story-based game that's just released as a timed console exclusive.
Wait a sec... Your telling me you can only play this sh!t at a VERY specific time during the week because of a built-in artificial time limit? Is that what ARG's are?
No, that’s not a thing with ARGs as far as I know.
@@cwp24 I like a creative puzzle just as much as the next point n' click adventure game enthusiast but i'll never understand this network group stuff.
Finding the solution on your own is part of a games experience, being part of a group to work it out though... Sounds super dumb to me.
@@s-clone8964 i completely agree, that just sounds like a logistical nightmare. There’s no way that will ever work.
I prefer the wrong gameplay in the background, not that I personally ever remember complaining about it. I have no idea whatever the fuck was going on in the background of this one, it was hard to pay attention because of how confusing it was. I feel like I've taken less away from this video then I could have and I don't feel like rewatching it cause it looked like a hot mess with all the popping text and random shit going on :p
What you had going on was effective, whenever you wanted to show us something you wanted to point out you showed us the exact thing on the screen and highlighted it as you normally do. When you were done with that and in between things you'd just have the random gaming footage. Not confusing, not irrelevant, not bad. Unlike this one :p
I feel like if people need so desperately to be entertained by background noise that they can't be satisfied with gaming footage, however random, then maybe they aren't paying attention to what's going on anyway and aren't really the audience that will walk away from your videos more informed.
Dude some smaller/indie devs really have no shame. SMH
The Turkish gaming industry is pretty new but I wouldn't expect THIS.

Are you TRYING to make a point with your B-roll being of bad games, as you talk about bad 'games'?
