Ive never seen elder cruz have an exciting match. 11% submission rate in 2023 according to bjj heroes.
He has 5 submissions in 67 fights. The only submissions were against random BB's. Horrible to watch.
It's because you can't get a boring match out of Roberto Jimenez.

I feel like Roberto should just get a win for being aggressive and controlling the mat. Elder just circled around the whole time.
Suggestion...we are not all familiar with the point system. Maybe quick notes at the bottom of the screen explaining why points were awarded. This way we can learn. Just a suggestion.

Seating / spectating was a fucking nightmare at this event. I couldn’t see shit going on half the time. And if you were in the stands, once it went to the ground you couldn’t see shit. Very disappointed

Elder makes nogi matches into more of a snooze than gi matches.
Common IBJJF. You got the best grapplers in the word and your best camera is a "RING" desk camera. Get with the times already.

With wrestling as a base, it's way easier to dictate where the fight takes place. It seems like Roberto had a hard time getting the fight where he wanted it because Elder was more energy efficient.
Elder was not more efficient, he is clearly bigger than Roberto and has better wrestling
Yeah, he was controlling where he wanted the fight. Hence, he was more efficient with his expenditure. It seemed Roberto was using way more energy to get his moves off.@@Leumas34676
