Pairing the little match jar with a candle makes a lovely gift!!
Thats a great idea!
Great tips! Here is another: the fastest and Easiest way to remove a label is to heat it up with a hairdryer. After a minute, one can usually peel the label off very easily with little to no residue left behind.
Love that one! 🙌
But be careful when using the hairdryer on plastic. I once had a molten plastic jar in my hand after using this trick. Oops!
alcohol also works. If it's glass, you can use nail polish remover.
I bet the linen spray would also work well on main room curtains
Mayonnaise let to sit on it for a little while will loosen it up
That last hack using the dishwasher pod is GOLD! Can't wait to try it! All of the hacks are great, I just loved the last one.
Yay! Thank you!
If you don't have a dishwasher (like me) and don't want to buy the washing tablets, try putting 1tbsp baking soda, 1tbsp borax, 1/2 tbsp of salt, 1 tbsp of vinegar, and squeeze 1/2 a lemon into 2 cups water.. mix it up real good... then pour that into the pan and bring to a boil for 5 minutes. Let cool. Then scrub as usual. 🥰👍
In my ceramic and stainless pans, I use Barkeepers Friend for that cooked on gunk. They look like new.
Nice! Unfortunately it didn't work for this one.
Wow, wonderful ideas. Glad that they were short and concise, it makes you want to watch until the end.😊
Thanks so much! 😊
The make up brushes in the test tubes is a great idea and quite stylish!
The test tube containers would be great for a toothbrush holder for a small family 😁
Your hacks are great, especially to clean my dirty frying pan. Nice that supplies to try all are from a dollar store - makes it easy and inexpensive.
Great ideas! I'll be trying most of them for sure! I have a picture frame hack that has worked for me for years too. I use a bead size ball of blue tack on the back bottom corners of all my frames, for mirrors as well as art and photos, and they stay put. I put a teeny bit on the bottom of certain candles that tend not to stay straight as well. Blue tack is very helpful and lasts forever, even when it gets hard you can work it to make it soft again.. 😊
I’m going to try the wax paper hack. Thanks! 🎉
Love the pan cleaning hack and love clever idea of make up brushstrokes in flower vases.
I love the idea with the matches and putting the strike plate on the bottom. One of the biggest problems ( other than the looks) I've had is that the box often gets crushed over time. Also, the dishwasher pod in the pan! Thank you, I have ceramic coated pans I want to try this on! =D
Wow! Such great ideas! Thanks!
Definitely trying the frying pan one! Thanks Christina
Love your Dollarama videos! I actually have a pan sitting on the counter that I was going to throw in the garbage b/c we couldn't get it clean. I'm off to try your hack!
Great tips! I will definitely try the dishwasher tab on pan hack.
I love that these hacks are from our Canadian store. I had finding a hack on line but can't find the product to use here (in Canada).
The pan for sure💖 Thank you for sharing.
LOVE these hacks! I’m definitely going to try the dishwasher tab for my pan! Also, I’m going to make the cute match holder!!🥰
Thank you!!💕
Yay! Thank you for watching!
when all else fails read the instructions; I bought a new ink cartridge to replace the old one on my HP printer
put it in correctly but after about 5 pages it 'ran out of ink' couldn't believe it as it cost $25.
My friend suggested a few drops of rubbing alcohol in a ziplock bag for a few hours to absorb the moisture.
what it did was loosen the tape which I hadn't seen to protect the ink section, I would have never realized it was there and not only got rid of the cartridge but the printer itself, saved by the bell
The matchstick jar made me a new subscriber! 😂
Thanks for subbing! 🩷
Thanks for the sink cleaning tip. I've been struggling with the grey streaks in my rental bathtub.
One trip to Dollarama, got my barkeepers friend and my tub is ALL white and pristine now❤
Amazing, yay!
I have two identical keys to the front and back doors to my apartment. The front door is painted RED for fRont, while the back door key is BLUE for Back. I’ve been doing this trick for about ten years. It’s much easier now because of the vast array of nail polish colors.
Hi from 🇨🇦
I like the dish tab in the non stick pan as I recently had stuck on food and I scraped it with a green scraper and now it doesn’t seem to allow foods to non stick so this would have been a great tip to know!
Also I liked the room spray, the picture frame hack and the match jar idea
Just used the dishwasher tab on my frying pan .....its come up like new🎉🎉🎉🎉 thank you Christina
Woohoo! 🙌✨
Love the wax paper hack!
don't get some stuff in this part of the world but am going to try the wax paper hack on metal fixtures
I would go right for a cheap oil to remove labels. There are also sprays called something like «label off»and wu40 will also get them off.
I am trying ALL of these except the getting sticker labels off as I use a hair dryer and nail polish remover. OMG! New Subscriber!
Thanks for subbing! 🩷🩷🩷
First, you look so lovely in that blue chambray top! I especially liked the tips for the linen spray and the pretty match jar. Thanks, Christina! 😊
Thank you!! 🩷
Thanks for the great tips! I'm going to try the pan hack.😊
LOVE the pipecleaner hack! A much better idea than creating so much waste by throwing away existing hangers to replace them with the non-slip ones. Plus, extra materials for crafts :D
Hi Christina 😊 Great hacks, thanks! Coconut oil is good for taking stubborn stickers off, as well as "The Pink Stuff" < this also works great on grout and tile, stove tops, inside oven.
Perfect on match container. Sure beats the high price of others, selling. Your beaker containers for your makeup brushes, I'd place a single stem flower in each. Proportional to size 🌸 Enjoy your weekend! ❤
Great tips, thank you! 🩷
I like the Freshen up spray for Bedding it is wonderful. The others are great too. Thanks so much, many blessings to you and your family.❤
These are all great ideas!!! I so going to do most of these!
Yay! Thank you!
Thank you! I love your sponge idea with the hole in the middle too!! ❤
Thank you! 😊
Great tips! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks. Crumpled up newspaper works really well for cleaning and shining glass so, perhaps the faucets too. Cheers.
Very helpful. Thanks!
Great stuff. Thank you!
Baby oil, or anything oily to remove sticky residue
Great hacks!!!!
Great hacks and dollar store finds. 💕🇨🇦
Thanks for watching!
Bar keepers friend and dawn power wash makes sinks and tubs so clean when used together ❤
Huge Dawn PowerWash fan here! 😄
I'm going to try the hack about cleaning the pans 😊 thanks for sharing
Let me know how it goes!
Spray sticky glue with vinegar or rubbing alcohol/ hand sanitizer to remove
Your older sink looks amazing!
Great hacks! I really like the dab of hot glue on the back of art work, genius. Colored keys, good one. I don't cook but the pan cleaning is pretty darn good.
Clothes hanger one - our Dollar Tree sells the velour flat hangers, they keep clothes from slipping off; packs of 5 in 3 color choices
Great tip!
Great ideas!
I’ve seen the nail polish on keys idea before but your style of application takes it up a notch 🙂
Thanks so much! 😊
GREAT hacks Christina! Especially ❤️ the makeup brushes and the glue gun/ picture frame hack. TY as always. 🙋🏼♀️❣️👏🏻⚡️
Thanks for watching. 🩷
TFS Christina these ideas are so good! I have a pet peeve to remove labels. At first I used goo gone but now all time baby oil especially if it’s glass! I am definitely going to try the dishwasher tablet for my pan. The tubes would look cute with single small buds TFS ❤😊
Great idea!!
❤❤❤
Great hacks. 😊🇨🇦
Please wear a mask when stirring the dishwasher tablet in the bioling water on the stove top
The pan one
🫧🍳 For the pan cleaning tip.... If you don't have a dishwasher (like me) and don't want to buy the washing tablets, try putting 1tbsp baking soda, 1tbsp borax, 1/2 tbsp of salt, 1 tbsp of vinegar, and squeeze 1/2 a lemon into 2 cups water.. mix it up real good... then pour that into the pan and

Great tip!
soak in hot water to get the label off
Very good tips.
However… just a nice suggestion… no harm meant.
Your kitchen looks great, marble backsplash, ceramic sink etc.
Yet scrubber 🧽 mounted inside the sink… yuk spoils all that beauty…
who wants to look at someone’s scrubber?
My wife has it mounted inside the door underneath the sink. On a dollar store command hook holding a 3.99 TJ Maxx kitchen scrubber holder…
👍🏻
Oh my goodness... I just watched a TH-cam channel called "HomeCulture" the host, Ana, looks like she could be your sister. She's also in Canada! Thanks for making videos!
Oh, very cool! I'll have to check out her channel.
Do you have a hack for cleaning glass cooktops? I have used the kits but without 100% success.
I use a lot of water and a razor for the really stuck on stuff.
i miss Dollarama. it has more choices than Dollar Tree
The pan result is amazing but as a pan should not be put in the dishwasher because of the aggressive cleansers that can destroy the pan coating I think this may be not so good?
I find it's the heat of the dishwasher that mostly wrecks my coatings.
@@thediymommy This would be strange. A pan is actually for far higher temperatures than the dishwasher has.
Can you do a organic spray instead I don’t want to use toxic chemicals oils on my pillows.
Sure, you could use organic oils to make this too.
Thanks, Christina! My problem is the baked on grease on my glass casserole dishes. It’s almost embarrassing to take something to a carry-in with the spots.
Have you tried the kitchen Magic Eraser for that?
@@thediymommy No, maybe I’ll try that!
❤❤❤
