I was just surfing TH-cam and I told my husband how Neiman Marcus sends bags without boxes like most department stores. Then you appear saying the same thing, lol. You're 100% correct. These department stores should have the box that goes with every bag. My Burberry crossbody came a few weeks ago in its dust bag in just the packing box and was left on my door step in the rain. It wasnt even wrapped in plastic. Thank God my husband saw the truck and ran out to get it. They do not care. To them $1500 is nothing. I purchased the Loewe Mini Puzzle Bag in pink yesterday from Neiman Marcus. It was on sale for $600 less than retail so I had to get it even though I do not own any light color bags. I'm going to give it a shot. I'm expecting it to come damaged. I hope not but I wont be surprised. The real reason I clicked on your video is because I saw you holding this YSL and it's a fairly light color. How do you prevent color transfer? Other than wearing it with light colored clothing, do you have a product that you spray on your bags to prevent dye transfer? Do you have any other methods? I'm so afraid of regretting this purchase. I take care of my bag but I want to enjoy them to. What are your thoughts??
On the purseforum lots of people are talking about damaged bags they ordered from department stores. I won't buy from department stores anymore unless it's in person. I have had several light bags - my galet capucines, my white Balenciaga city bag, my damper Azur neverful and have never had any color transfer with any of them even though I wear dark denim sometimes. I have never sprayed any of my bags either. This Niki comes in crinkled calfskin which makes it more durable. Happy Holidays! Hope all of your purchases come in perfect condition.

We live in Southern California and the mandatory mask mandate goes until at least January 15th for the whole State (not that everyone is wearing them). My husband works for a school district and the kids need to wear them. I think the whole country will be going into stricter lockdowns this week???? For anyone like me that can’t afford ysl the Rebecca minkoff Edie is a good alternative. I don’t understand the designer shoe thing- we avoid putting out bags on the floor but designer shoes live down there with all the filth 🤢
Yes Rebecca Minkoff bags are fantastic! Every bit as nice as more expensive bags - as it Coach. I thought that way too about designer shoes until I started buying them. They really elevate an outfit - especially in a professional setting. Happy Holidays!

It depends upon what you consider heavy. It's a a bit heavy but not super heavy. Vague I know, but I don't know how to answer that. It would probably not be great to carry all day or something.

For anyone like me that can’t afford ysl the Rebecca minkoff Edie is a good alternative. I don’t understand the designer shoe thing- we avoid putting out bags on the floor but designer shoes live down there with all the filth 🤢
Yes Rebecca Minkoff bags are fantastic! Every bit as nice as more expensive bags - as it Coach. I thought that way too about designer shoes until I started buying them. They really elevate an outfit - especially in a professional setting. Happy Holidays!

I have a capucines in galet which is a nude/grey color and there has been zero wear and tear with that beauty. This crinkled leather on the niki should help too. Is the bag heavy?
It depends upon what you consider heavy. It's a a bit heavy but not super heavy. Vague I know, but I don't know how to answer that. It would probably not be great to carry all day or something.
