Foil Attacks - 04 - Forever Lock Behind the Scenes

Here is some footage from the very first attempts I made when attacking the Forever Lock using a foil impressioning attack. I learned the hard way about the tight keyway being unhappy with foil-wrapped keys. I witnessed what happened when the works got all gummed up and the foil shredded... some pins would dimple the test key but others didn't cooperate.
In the end, during my first attempt I managed to snap off the blade of the key within the lock (a common problem during many impressioning attacks, actually) and we had to cut the lock apart (which was also not the simplest of hurdles to clear, as it turns out)
You will also see the very first successful attempt of mine when doing this attack (albeit with poor camera footage) so this video illustrates more or less the whole exploring and learning experience with the Forever Lock when i attacked it at NextFab.

I will not use a precision ground paralell as a pry bar,
I will not abuse the surface plate
Especially to open some chineesiun lock.
Some finesse is in order.
