I'm one of those people who is just really enamored by celebrities. I know some people couldn't care less about them, but if I've seen someone in a movie and then I see them in real life, I always think that's really cool. I do get starstruck. That combined with the fact that I'm a NYer and I love Broadway means that I've met quite a few of them over the years. No one has been blatantly rude, but some are obviously much more friendly than others. That's just the nature of human beings. I'm shy and I'd probably come off as rude if I were famous. (I also gauge the situation. If someone is at dinner with their family, I'm not going to bother them.) Anyway...I've never met Jodie (that would be amazing!), but I get the impression that she is who she appears to be. Like, if you went up and talked to her, she'd be really cool and friendly. No "diva" attitude or anything like that. Fun fact: The nicest celebs that I've met have been the most famous. I'm talking about A-list, Oscar winners. The higher up on the celebrity ladder they go, the nicer they seem to be. It's probably because they're used to being approached by people. Jodie's been in the industry for over 50 years; I feel like she probably takes everything in stride. I wouldn't be afraid to ask her for a selfie and I very rarely do that. But I just feel like she'd say, "Sure! No problem!"
If you haven't seen her acting in French for A VERY LONG ENGAGEMENT, look it up. It's a big budget French WW1 movie with Audrey toute, Marion Cotilert. Jodie played a French widow, not a small role.
The film she refers to 'The Little Girl Who Lives Down The Lane' is great. Little forgotten gem, her performance is just stunning. The last shot is haunting. Martin Sheen is in it playing a nasty man.

Jodie's Mom was French Canadian, and she lived in France for a year when her Dad was stationed there. She went to an American school in Paris and became fluent. At Yale, she studied French literature as part of her degree.
I love that woman. I have always loved her. We're the same age, and I feel like we grew up together. (She has, by the way, done a much better job of that than I have.)
Loved the little girl who lived down the lane. Jodi killing it since the age of 3. Also if you have never seen Home for the Holidays I recommend. She directed a fantastic cast!
Thank you Jimmy for posting this video today! I was just told that I have a non cancerous brain tumor which I did surgery for yesterday. This video has really brightened my day!

I watched that as a kid (I was probably about 10)... we were in the pilot program for this new little thing called HBO in the 70s and had a box that sat on top of the TV with a switch to turn it over to HBO. We weren't supposed to watch when our parents weren't home but we did of course. I saw that, a bit of "Christine," and the scene in "The Omen" when the glass sheet decapitates the guy. But I saw all of "Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane." I need to find it to re-watch it. Probably traumatize me all over haha. I've had a huge ol' crush on Jodi since "Candleshoe" when I was a pre-teen!

Love her entrance on that chair, Jodie Foster is forever a queen on screen and off. Her sense of humour, sharp intelligent wit, energy and smile is the best. Spectacular at speaking French as well. 😂🤣😆🖤 🧠 👑💎⚜️
An idea for an extra skit on Jimmy would be his staff calls all those people that lied in confessions and make it real, Oprah should totally have him over for dinner and we should see Nick cage drive Jimmy backwards just maybe safer on a track on something. But that’s would be so fun to watch.
They should have known Tariq's was a lie when he said that he didn't know what they had for dinner, but he still somehow knows what they had for dessert LOL.
I'm not at the answer yet, but in "The Little Girl that Lives Down the Lane" Jodie Foster was a child, so this story is very possible. If it isn't true, she was smart to go to one of her roles that she played when she was a little kid. (Kids puke. LOL) Also...It's a fantastic film! I highly recommend it, especially if you like horror/thrillers.
Why would Jimmy assume Patty Labelle would not cook ? This chick loves to cook soul food and she throws down. They acting like patti cooked a damn Pie for dinner. On top of that couldnt see through the B.S. smh
I had no idea she was a compliant non competitor. I would have thought the opposite from her roles. I am distubed that people might control her and coerce and manipulate her.
She’s so grounded. Feels like everything’s gonna be okay when she’s around.
Love that she cuts her own hair.
Jodie foster is such a class act and a hoot at the same time

I love how she said c'est la vérité and nobody understood her, so she said it is true right afterwards
Yep

I agree 100%.
One of Foster's best early roles.
and her french!!! she's just amazing

Sending you healing light and energy 🙏♥️

You write this everywhere. 😂 We get it.@@___beyondhorizon4664
She's still hot-looking as well!
Yes! Exactly:)
Tariq has a good poker face
Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane is one of my favorites ❤🎉
Never saw it. I'll have to check it out!
@tammyjantzen9004 1976. Martin Sheen is so 😨 . It's a horror 🎥 subtle not gory.

I grew up with her films, she's the goat!
I caught Trotter's lie. He said Oprah invited them after the Grammys, then said the dinner was in Colorado. Grammys are not hosted in Colorado.
Good idea that should be done more often with different members of the band & guest😊😊
Jodie panic room is my 2nd favorite room I love you for that movie

Nahh we need collin Ferrell back on here I’m still convinced he got away with murder 😂😂😂
c'est la vérité - no reaction
that's the truth - yeahhhhh!
Good game! Well played each turn. Jodie Foster always interesting so glad she is still in the game! She'll never get old!
I want a computer chair like those.
Her French is amazing!
True confessions the best!!!!!!!!

Well the answer was....truth! That did happen.
wow, she sounds really french when she speaks it. tres surprenant 😍Little girl who lives down the lane was a great movie !
Nicolas Gessner was the director Jodie threw up all over
She's looking good and happy
Jodie knows what‘s up!
I would've declined too Black Thought. These guys are solid at this classic Fallon game.
i wish they would read the ones that are true after they admit the lies..
I've always suspected it was the same letter in both envelopes.
@@Editorknowsbest you may be right...
J̌odie foster is a genius
Love her honesty. Just wish she would've publicly come out much earlier. She would've helped a lot more people be brave about coming out.
Petition to make them reveal the true story if they pick the lie!
Sorry, Tariq. As someone who speaks both French and Portuguese, I can confirm that that was excellent French!
put the smoke out for Jodie Foster JIMBO!
WOW! Thank you and the same to you😂🎉🎉🎉
It's 2024, and people still don't know that Jodie speaks French lol
I just to check on that movie..looks good. 10:47

Questioning could have been more intense 😂
Anyone else pause and start fact checking Jodie's story?
No Uber when he on SNL! EZ!
I just had to IMDB the facts Jodie said before the reveal ;)
Just wished that Tariq went like, " oh I sure can act!😂"
Of course Jimmy's was a lie. No vehicle can go that fast in reverse 😂 that'd be like going 70 mph in first gear 🤣🤣
Oranges Julius, yum.
I love TT!
Reverse is lower than first. You can't do even 35MPH in any car in reverse.
Jody Foster nuggah been in the game for all her life.
Nice 👍
It's Nicholas Gessner BTW.
Deception! You got that right! Deceived for 50 years about her truth!
Можно завести разговор о молчании ягнят а фильме таком или у вас другие совсем там разговоры
Leviticus 10:9, 23:31
Damn Tariq is a good actor (liar) cuz I totally believed him!! I wouldn’t wanna be his wife 😅😅😅
Who wouldn't go to an Oprah dinner?
C'est vrai!
Yay
Jimmy's one was clearly a lie. There's no way one could drive that fast in reverse.
Jodie has an IQ of 160 like Einstein !
Nope Grammys to Colorado
😊😊😊😊😊😊

Not my favourite game, but I'll take it over the new BS "games" yall are doing lately.
