It's not just a boarding school thing either, most schools have something similar to houses but some schools take the whole thing a lot more seriously than others. Tho nowadays you DEFINITELY wouldn't get the serious rivalries between houses like black butler/Harry Potter shows

Tbh I've always thought of this arc as "The calm before the storm" As the next Arcs Are like the best and important parts of the plot itself and the Animation studio ATE this season they did super well from the animation to the Soundeffects, Im very happy as Black butler is my favorite manga, +lol didn't know u had another channel!!
I literally PRAY they animate the Emerald Witch arc. As a manga reader, it is literally THE BEST arc in the whole Black Butler series. It's filled with action, gore, angst, and some funny moments. There is also two main new characters and one of them is my second favorite character in the entire series. Seriously look forward to it!!
The new style rlly suits Yana Toboso’s new art style, if u read the manga u can see the improvement in her ways of drawing and styling the character, which I think translates very nicely in this new season

Nah I’m not saying they should skip this arc at all in fact, I love the arc a lot. I was worried about the season being weak story wise at first but it wasn’t.

I unfortunately still cant get over the animation style. Cause BB is supposed to be a dark gothic anime, the A1 studio adaptation was fitting perfectly. But oh well they probably couldnt take BB again cause of the hard work for solo leveling. And no BB is not shounen, but still has some fights here or there.

As a One Piece fan myself who never missed a single episode or manga chapter ever: OP is as an anime overall overrated by people, that are die-hard fans that would never admit, that their favorite anime fell off. It lost a lot of touch over the last 10 years with it's goofy nonsense and fanservice. There are a lot other shounen and anime in gerneral out there, imagine that. Also, in the time you need to watch over 1100 episodes, you can watch 91 other anime seasons 😆
@kaddy0306 bro One piece has always been goofy, its about a kid with rubber power 100% goofy, plus in the beginning luffy has kidnapped by a giant bird cuz he wanted to eat that bird, goofy as heck. One piece is not like other Shonen. it's more about the themes and characters then just I want to punch something really really hard.

But it also switched perfectly with the very serious parts and also very serious character visuals that are now totally missing. The sad and cruel backstories right then had no goofy or super hard fantasy nonsense in it like now. Same goes for the character design that needs now 10 kilograms of tits and fanservice in it. One Piece in 2000 was more badass than it got 10-20 years later and i'm not the only one that critizizes it. Same goes for the horrible pacing in Wano, because of Toei Animation. "One Piece is not like other Shounen" - OP is literally the definition of "i want to punch something really hard" next to Dragonball and Naruto. Ofc in good switch and balance with the rest of the plot. But OP is basically a fighting Shounen. Hope you are kidding right now.

And yes OP is more narrative center then having luffy just win or have others in his level be stronger then the MC
Of course i was happy that BB came back after all and it improved in details a LOT when it comes to the scenery. But the blurry + lightning effects they add at the end of the animation process (see the making of videos) and the everyday sunshine doesn't fit Black Butler at all. That made it look like any other random school slice of life. I also hate the new artstyle of Sebastian and Undertaker, including his golden eyes and the weird looking eyelashes. Also the CGI focus on those non-important tea scenes etc were SO unnessecary. I feel like they heard a part of the critic they got and changed the animation for the tea party a little bit to it's old design in some scenes, including the red eyes. A huge part of the opening also didn't made any sense visually/as a metaphor, but the music was good overall. The CGI skull at the end really sucked to the point it was embarassing, but at the end, I mean: Better than we got nothing?!
Yea the golden eyes got on my nerves too but then at the end when Sebastian let go of the whole Master Michealis facade, his red eyes came back. So you could say the golden eyes were like part of the disguise y'know? Also I kinda liked the skull (even though yea it does not make ANY sense.)

It's an important arc for setting some stuff up but is largely considered the most boring one because of the change of pace
