Thank for a very helpful demo. For newcomers to the front loading bobbin practice and it becomes easy. I used the little eye in the bobbin casing for making tucks with the double needle and I think there is a foot with grooves in for this. Clever cutting edge on the winder. Look forward to the next videos.
Good! But seeing you tear the thread like that, as an example, made me cringe! You are using a weak cotton thread. Most sewers use polyestert thread, which would NEVER tear that easily, if at all? Such strain on the bobbin winder is never desired.

The lever near the spindle of the bobbin winder is loose so cannot wind the bobbin. How do I fix it myself?
I have the 1030 model
My bobbin threaded will not rotate to fill the bobbin when threaded through tensioner. It rotates without thread. Any solution that comes to mind

Those are the wrong type of spools to be used on vertical spool pins. The thread will twist as it comes off of them that way.
Haven't had any problems with these spools in the 20 years I've been using them.
