When they were creating the dish, I thought..that looks really good...and portion wise, even I could finish that..but once you started eating, I decided I was fine with the cheap dollar store ramen lol

I once bought some “tingling lip balm” that felt like buzzing stinging bees with hot throbbing coming from my lips after application. It was so bad I had to throw the whole thing out after one use. Back in January of 2020, I went to the Killer Noodle on Sawtelle Blvd and ordered the same dish but with Spice & Numbing Levels at 4, and I was hurting badly by the end of the meal! But it was a good pain, and definitely one of my most favorite/memorable meals of that West Coast vacation. I give you so much respect for going to Level 6 on both types of heat!

In China they told me the Sichuan peppercorn ("something stinging???" in Mandarin) are meant to numb your tongue so you can eat more spicy food. I think every spicy hot pot I had in China has these numbing peppercorns in it.

I can understand why a lot of people don't understand why we eat very spicy foods...and have yet see anyone give much of an opinion...So here goes and am will to answer follow up questions.....Very spicy foods, cause the body to release chemicals that can resemble hallucinatory to sedative, have seen people have a psychotic break down... It's not only that, spices carry very unique chemicals in their selves, Capcasin isn't always the only spice used here, so there is multi level flavor that can carry on the spice, and can make it enjoyable like drinking whiskey...or martinis...Be very cautious with spices and pepper's know there is a huge difference before consuming, oils and extracts also carry a very different heat....
Does anyone else get this back in the morning or even same day? Just drunken noodle Thai hot and I am good for about 6 trips to the bathroom. I feel religious when I reach the last one and I think holy water comes out of me I'm so clean.
I have watched her videos for years but that noise when they eat noodles drives me crazy can't stand the sound of them but always watch your videos she's the only woman on TH-cam that I watch eating shows anyway cuz I like her and I like her personality everybody be safe out there.
When eating extremely spices noodle soup make sure there is no air bubble pockets in the mouthfuls. Why ! Because if it starts hitting the numbness in the windpipe you can't stop coughing.
