I've been working on this mashup for a while as a gift for Ariana Grande's birthday because why not! I wanted to add imperfect for you to her birthday mashup because it's her favorite song from eternal sunshine.
I tried mixing it with Daydreamin' because that was one of her favorites from Yours Truly (her first album), and I wanted to do a Yours Truly x eternal sunshine mashup, but it wasn't working so well because Daydreamin' was in 4/4 time and imperfect for you was in 3/4 time. A while ago I made a mashup of Dangerous Woman and Break Free, but it was harder to make because Dangerous Woman is in 6/8 time and not 4/4 like Break Free. imperfect for you and Dangerous Woman had similar problems, so I wanted to try mixing them to see if they'd work, and it turned out really nice because imperfect for you is 3/4, and Dangerous Woman is 6/8 (6/8 works with 3/4 because if you make 6/8 a fraction, it simplifies down to 3/4). I added some extra vocals at the end just as some icing on the cake!
