deadpools immortality works and it isnt boring because the story is soooooo good. hes immortal because hes in love with death, yet they can never be together because DP is cursed with life. other immortal fictional characters are boring because there is no down side to their immortality.

When comic books have gotten so ridiculous with their characters that Deadpool is the most realistic. He can't kill everyone and he can't just walk through explosions. He's as insane as anyone who's survived that much would be.

Cable goes back in time and saves him. It's dumb because they could have taken the collar off but instead cable goes back in time and uses his only way home on deadpool

I actually feel horrible for Deadpool. He can't be with his Love for long, he can't die, with that healing factor he can't age except that damn spiderman Deadpool team up comic. Eternity is a long time, even longer on the mind. I couldn't imagine being cursed in such a way.
