1 of my all time fave songs by 1 of my fave all time bands and this woman did an amazing job. Her voice is meant for songs like this and Joe should get her up on stage and do this as a duo as they would sound amazing together.

It just happens to be the 36 Anniversary of the release of the Hysteria album. This is Leppards masterpiece. This song is just enchanting. Great cover!!
@@wildsau1965 High N Dry was a good rock album. Good songs. Compared to Hysteria it is a simplistic drawing. Even though both had Mutt Lange at the helm. Hysteria is a highly layered, intricate, carefully and lovingly work of art. With tiny nuances in guitar parts and essentially everything else to make it sound as good as it does. Leppard doing Hysteria songs live would sound similar in texture since live is broken down to the basics....two guitars(playing two different parts), bass, drums and vocals. Of course today guitars are using EFX3 for sounds and effects, newer tech drums etc...
@RachelAnneAmbrose i always considered High N Dry better, as I prefer the raw talent showing up. Hysteria is an album that you can tell was produced. Their style seemed to have changed a lot for sure. Though you can kind of compare it to something like Appetite for Destruction vs Use Your Illusions 2. Everything seems far more refined, and not as raw. (Use your illusions 1 is mostly songs that were written in the Appetite era, from what I understand of it).

Err mer gersh! Her voice brought absolute clarity to a classic that I’ve loved since it came out. She beautiful, harmonic and can honestly compete neck and neck with any cover singer for this song.
One of Def Leppard's best songs and also a great driving song. It's a shame what happened to Steve Clark. The guy was an awesome talent, created much of their lyrics and was an awesome guitar player. Def Leppard lost a lot when he passed away. Hysteria still to this day their best album. You sound great by the way Karmen👍.
One of those albums you can play from start to finish and not have to skip a song because you don't like it. And agree with you re this cover - check out the Def Leppard ones by Alyona Yaroshina too.

On 8 January 1991, Clark was found dead on his couch by his girlfriend.[4] He was 30 years old. The postmortem revealed that the cause of death was respiratory failure caused by a lethal mixture of alcohol and prescription drugs.
