Tbh though, I think it's pretty clear from them saying "bigender" and specifically "male" and "female" forms, Jordan uses gendered pronouns for each form. I know that, for some trans people, using "they/them" when they have explicitly preferred gendered pronouns is still a little flippant.

This show feels like a prequel and sequel at the same time where you see how Vought recruits young people who are good people in the beginning and then their minds get broken which is tough as they can't go back to their former selves. That flashback scene with Luke and his brother I just got tears and then Luke's girlfriend asking her to take away the pain OMG that was gut wrenching.
The NFT joke was unfortunately dated in retrospect but I also 100% believe that anyone who had NFTs of their business cards would still be using them even now
I love how promo's kept making jokes that Emma is the girl Hughie and they weren't lying. They love covering them both awkwardly in insane amounts blood
The “I think you do it just to spite me” line hit so hard. A lot of the transphobic people say stuff like “they wanna assault women”, “they are trying to groom our kids” or “they do it to make us upset” purely because they don’t understand it so they immediately think it must be negative and harmful for them, when in reality trans people are trans for themselves, not for anyone else.

They are so good at making you care about characters. And when they want you to feel the intensity of a scene they can flip a switch like that. I’m just so happy this universe exists in this format and is actually this well written and realized.
Anyone else notice that Little Cricket’s name (Emma Meyer) is nearly the same actress who plays Enid on Wednesday (Emma Myers)? Both characters are the roommate of the main character, both have short blonde hair, both are more colorful and outgoing than their roommate, and both have dysfunctional relationships with their mothers. Seriously, this cannot be a coincidence.
You can tell it's kind of like an elseworld storyline to the X-Men universe with a complete opposite twist with parents turning their kids into Sups while in X-Men universe the parents disowned their kids because they had powers.
There was some really good acting in every ep so far, but this episode had really good moments - 17:08, the face acting with these two is really impressive, tight close-ups were a great idea
This show is doing a great job at developing up our main cast and crew of characters and giving their backgrounds to who they are. Only 3 episodes in too and it feels like things are only going to get spicier and bloodier.👏
That ending shows that even almost any power can be dangerous depending on how you use it. This was another entertaining episode that let you in on some backstory of some of the characters to give more perspective on who they are and why they behave the way they do. Love when you get a little bit of a character's origin because it can change or increase the way you feel about them. It's nice how they seem to be growing a team element which I really want to see happen. If they were to bring Luke back later in the show by revealing that by blowing himself up he triggered an evolution in his powers to become pure flame energy to survive and it took time to pull tha energy back together would be an awesome reveal. They would then be the college version of the Se7en and then things would get even more interesting. They could even have it that over time Luke is able to slowly regenerate his physical body back because a piece of him was wrapped in the energy from the explosion that was pulled into the energy form to help restore his body. Also I wonder is the next episode is where the puppet stuff comes into play. I have a feeling that it might be Sam's power. Coy needs to make a T-Shirt that says "I'm An Adult, So Why Don't You Let Me Do Sh*t". I'd buy that the first chance I get. 🤣 Enjoyed the reaction 👍👍✌out.

And it is likely Emma and Marie are part of a grade that might just be the group that, well, will believe in the Boys' message (the one Billy et al are espousing).

This show is kind of the modern X-Men school.. What they've done with Jordan is really interesting, like "they" or "He/she" actually makes sense since this person doesn't have gender disphoria, he/she is actually both biolocally both sexes and can change at a whim.. Like if you can go back and forth into both of course you would have a 50/50 connection with both sides of yourself.. It's also cool how its two actors sharing the role.
Runaways was such an awesome show! I enjoyed that and Cloak & Dagger. They were both shows ahead of their time. It just sucks because if they did premiere later like around 2018 or 2019 then both shows would probably still be on today

I feel like this is the creation and motivation of the Legion of Doom. I could see all the characters turning to “bad guys” in Vought’s narrative. They are truly the good guys but know how powerful Vought is so they want want to carve out their peace to be left alone… Marie’s powers are ill… the facts are, she doesnt HAVE TO cut. She can use others blood.The college hasn’t show any Xavier School of showing you how to grow your powers, but i feel like that was her first time finding out she could heal when she was on the Molly. She will probably learn more. But her powers can be very clean[interior] or extremely messy [exterior]. She may be like Victoria Neumann the head popper. Most people she could probably blood bend but someone like Homelander it may just be a temporary frustration. Andre is already Magneto and his dad just broke his heart… Emma could over eat like i usually do and she may go to Hulk size…
He reminded me of Evan Peters too. Funnily enough, he was killed by Evan Peters on screen in Dahmer. I knew I recognized him but it just clicked. His the jogger in Dahmer that was trying to get to a concert
I can understand going into a spinoff like this with a grain of salt, but looking at the behind the scenes of the people involved in the production prove more than enough that this show would be amazing.
Idk how yall dont understand that they already knew sam was in a facility. They literally said it already. That was common knowledge. They believe he killed himself after his brother goldenboy visited. That is what the opening was about.
This show is just a taste of what we’ll get in season 4 of The Boys, but I’m loving it nonetheless! Like a time warp seeing younger supes, while homelander is wreaking havoc elsewhere. So happy the actors/actresses are happy. Production continues soon…
