Thank you for this video, I am fairly new and was doing a curse spam and barely scratching peoples hp in under 25 lobbies. now I run at em with a big ol sword and do some damage lol
@@coltshanks457 hey no problem, I am happy you found it helpful. I have been considering doing a video about how to build damage. But I didn’t know if a lot of people were asking that question lol. I appreciate your input.
I had recently put down curse-lock in term of doing corruption demon to be a frontline in duos with my wizard. We have had great success, since with exploitation strike doing more damage, I am healing usually more than the damage they are able to pump out if they're dogpiling on me. Only scary thing, is if I get silenced during demon. Exploitation strike on a kris dagger has helped me stay alive in a scrap while my wizard keeps putting out damage. I will likely return to the curse-lock as it is the most get out of jail subclass for warlock, but it feels liberating to put down the book and just fight head-on
Haha hell yeah man, I love mixing up my builds. And playing none stop with one play style gets crazy stale. The corruption demon absolutely slaps, imagine if your team mate was a wizard that also gave you haste and ignite… thanks for leaving a comment. I love hearing about what you guys are up to.
btw Curse Mastery reduces total Dps of curse of pain both single applications and multiple over the course of the fight, its longer till you can re apply with the initial damage and the damage is spread over a wider time instead of increasing
thanks for the reply, didnt see this, will check now@@BlueInferno edit: I've found/seen multiple comments referencing that youve already answered this question in another comment, but its a popular video with a lot of comments, maybe worth pinning it if its a recurring theme
I just found your channel. Just wanna say that this is a super fun series and im looking forward to more, gonna watch the other archtypes you made! Super creative ideas btw, i really want to try out the higher difficulty ones now!
Hey thank you! I have been working on the Barbarians video, but it is taking extra long because I suck with Barb. I really was aiming on the creative builds, and having fun with the system. And I hope you have fun either way some of this insanity!
Just what I've been looking for, thank you! I'm throwing myself over and over with squire gear into 25g lobbies in order to learn the game. So gear stats have no value to me. This is just what I need to determine what I want from the class
I see you tried to explain every combination of skills, but 1 in a 100 uses Dark Offering. Warlock archetypes are more like: - torture mastery + curses - hydrain - plate demon frontline tank - kris buff movespeed demon - boc phantomize
I think it’s more like 1/10,000 use dark offering. I have had some fun with it in team games though. It’s hilarious when you are 2 or 3 hitting enemies with a kriss. And yes those are the popular builds.
I have been playing more warlock as of recent and I think hydra life drain can be considered as well. Magical healing is sometimes expensive and/or you need a lot of it to be able to sustain with curses.
Starting a demon lock that uses predation to collect souls demon to cast bolts/heal and still full bossing potential with hell fire, eldritch sheild pos buff
Lol yeah it is, I have never been able to make it do great, but you have a crazy and diverse set of spells. I think it’s a build that is reliant on team composition and team work.
I have been running a demon armor lock woth boc or phantomise and spell memory for melee buffs. So its its been pretty good casting buffs on myself and just swinging like a madman with a kris dagger
@@imbombayman hey thanks so much my man, I actually uploaded a video that was just a sick 1v1 I had against a barbarian. It’s always a struggle, but thats an exact example of how I handle them. Thanks for the support.
@BlueInferno no problem man!!! I mostly play wizard and I struggle a lot with remembering my spacing. Sucks building a 3 grand kit (that's a good chunk for me) and getting wrecked because I misplay when I have gear on 😂 I'll check that video out, might learn a thing or two
Nice video, i tried your build of the last video, but my lack of skills on pvp dont let me cause the same havoc haha. But this video show a lot of ways to test now.. ty
Haha yeah the Hybrid lock definitely has a learning curve, especially if you pick the spells I do. I hope this video gave you some new ideas of how you can make a build that fits you perfectly.
Hey thanks man, I would love to! If this video gets a lot of support and people want more I think it would be cool to have them all on this playlist. Thank you for watching.
Lol thats not a half bad idea. I am working ob the fighters video right now… and wow the fighter has a lot more options. Really I am happy if I can inspire some creativity, and shift some focus off the META. Low gear score lobbies are their own kind of animal as well.
@@atefsalam7141 well I provided a difficulty, so the lower the number, the easier it is to kick ass. The higher the harder it is to kick ass. So in a way, that is their tier.
Thats a great idea, but I would end up making a pathing guide that is flexible. So I will have to put some thought in to how I would make that. I appreciate the input.
@@jimz1024 Vampirism is going to make recovering you health after sacrificing it, much quicker. A purple health pot when you have maxed out magic healing, and vampirism heals for a massive amount of HP, rather quickly. I found it. Quite easy to get away with a 20-30% sacrifice using that method alone.
Just a quick note, the Curse Mastery passive is bad isn't it? Unless they've changed it my understanding is that perk just makes your curses tick 30% slower but they last longer, you have lower dps but the dot is stickier which is actually bad for Cop spamming
You are correct about how it decreases overall damage per a second. But COP gets more ticks that do less damage. Meaning it will increase how much you heal from one cast. While the perk benefits power if sacrifice all around. So you are trading dps by a very small margin for 30% extra healing over time. While in turn you have less then a 5% reduction in your dps. But will still deal the same dps by the end of your abilities. Thanks for the comment my dude. I love theory crafting and considering all the options. 😋👍
@@BlueInferno Thank you for the info :) I'll be sure to let my warlock playing friends know. I figured it wasn't much of a dps increase like Fire Mastery on wiz but the better healing makes more sense
Curse mastery is so shit, doesnt make you do more damge or heal more just prolongs how much you heal and do damage over tume by giving you more ticks but at less damage and healing, such a dumb perk
It does actually change healing and damage, just not in the way you would think. I responded to this question in another comment if you want to see how it works. And it also increases the time for curse of weakness. But yes not a great perk lol.
Haha that would be crazy. Because most of them can go multiple different paths. Each one could use its own video going over the possibilities. And because most are incredibly under used, we don’t have much information on what tends to work for players. I have an insane idea for the nuke demon I want to do though.
I love when a guide that I just searched is uploaded just a few hours ago
Haha yes very serendipitous. Thank you for taking a look.
This is actually the same thing I was thinking
This video deserves 100k views. Nicely done
