NATO Allies train alongside Lithuania's Iron Wolf Brigade 🇱🇹

- One of Lithuania’s largest military exercises, Iron Wolf, saw nine NATO Allies - Belgium, Czechia, Germany, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, the United Kingdom and the United States - gather for intense training at Pabrade Training Ground, Lithuania.
The exercise, which involved more than 3,500 troops, and armoured vehicles including German Leopard 2 tanks, tested the ability of the Lithuanian Army’s Iron Wolf Brigade to carry out defensive operations and counter-attacks. NATO’s German-led multinational battlegroup participated, as did a US Army battalion assigned to Lithuania on a rotational basis.
The exercise was also an opportunity for troops from various Allies to hone their skills and ability to work together, as well as testing their readiness to defend NATO’s eastern flank, if required.

See some German uniforms and markings also our small armored German Cats are there. For me feels far better as German to be invited as a friend. May this is a burden we did to Lithuania 77 years ago. Now to proteced them from harm again, from others, together.

@@alessandrocanale6189 Volevo approfittare della tua intelligenza, visto che in Italia di gente normale ce n’è ben poca, per chiederti una tua opinione sulla postura della NATO in ambito di deterrenza nucleare: ho sempre pensato che uno dei grandi errori degli Stati Uniti (in quanto detentori della maggior parte dell’arsenale nucleare della NATO) sia stato di ridurre drasticamente sia la presenza di testate in Europa sia il taglio di progetti per nuovi vettori, vedi il Midgetman. Le falsità della russia sono venute a galla prorpio dopo questi due decenni di quasi smonbilitazione occidentale, ora conosciamo tutti da 70 anni la retorica di mosca e, come la storia ci insegna, mostrarsi minimamente deboli produce quello che stiamo vedendo da circa un anno in Ucraina. Non credi che la nostra alleanza dovrebbe rispondere più decisamente alle minacce portate ad esempio da Kaliningrad a un tiro di schioppo da Varsavia e Berlino e al resto dell’Europa?Secondo me le B61 non sono sufficienti, tu che ne pensi?
