One THE BEST songs in all of existence. So much emotion, so much control, so many blast beats. It's songs like this that convince me that metal is superior to ALL other types of music.
im so bummed that Haunted Shores 2011 Demo material was removed from Bandcamp... i purchased a handful of them but never downloaded lossless copies, and ive had zero luck getting in contact with Mark or Misha about it... ugh.
I've been trying to learn this since today, and i haven't had a song in a while that was so awesome to learn at the first day already. I hope I'll get it as polished as you soon enough. Great work dude! Looking forward for more of your content :)
I thought my hand looked ugly when I tremolo picked (at the end)😂sick job dude! I was going to attempt learning this and watching your vid made it that much harder. Oh well, still going for it!
Nah, I probably won't do that. But I can recommend a few things for you. First I would say get yourself a nice computer that can process a DAW without any problems, like a Mac. You can use any DAW or recording software that you want. I believe that Reaper is still free and a good choice if you are working with a budget, but you can never go wrong with Protools, Logic, or Cubase. Next, invest in a nice camera (if you're looking to make videos). I recommend Canon products because they are high quality and last a long time. In my opinion, the camera is just as important as any of the music gear you are using because nobody wants to watch a low quality video, even if you're playing is on point. I would then recommend a good interface. You can grab a Scarlett 2i2 for a reasonable price at most music retailers, which is actually all that I need to record everything with. Also, make sure to invest in a good pair of studio monitors because that is going to be what you listen to everything with. I prefer Yamaha products personally. As far as amps go, I would obviously recommend the Fractal Audio Axe Fx II, but if you aren't prepared to drop 2 grand on an amp sim, check out Positive Grid Bias Effects modeling software. Everything I hear about their products is positive, and everything sounds awesome from the demo videos I've watched. You can make good quality recordings without breaking the bank. Hopefully that helps a little!
Ryan Hewlett Jr Through the interface. So your guitar goes into your amp input, the amp output goes into the interface input, then the interface output will go into your computer.
Bogdan Ureche That would be a 2011 Custom 24 in smoked orange. I add some color correction to my videos which make it look a bit more red on film than it is in real life.
I don't even know if I can begin to explain them! They are mostly 6 string chords with some 5 string chords from the mind of Mark Holcomb. That's about the best I can do there, friend...

Ryan Hewlett Jr Through the interface. So your guitar goes into your amp input, the amp output goes into the interface input, then the interface output will go into your computer.
good shit dude, love the lens flare in your videos man. what camera and lens do you use?
For the camera I use a Canon Rebel T5i, and for the lens I use a Canon EFS 18-55mm with a wide angle lens attachment.
Kevin Danneman cool thanks man!
Sick cover! What prs model is that?
That would be a 2011 PRS Custom 24 in Smoked Orange.
ah I see. That filter is definitely making look more darkish-reddish like a scarlet smokeburst. Are you using stock pups?
Yessir. All I use is stock.

If you actually get one because of this PLEASE let me know. Would make my day.
Is it me or this actually sounds better than the original recording?

what are those chords you use in the beginning man
I don't even know if I can begin to explain them! They are mostly 6 string chords with some 5 string chords from the mind of Mark Holcomb. That's about the best I can do there, friend...
Fuck, did you figure them out by ear? Or do you have tabs for the chords or smth.
Sam Hoyek www.sheethappenspublishing.com/product-584/haunted-shores-viscera-printed-guitarbook
