দার্জিলিঙ জেলার একটি অন্যতম ভ্রমণ স্থান হলো মিরিক । এই মিরিক শহরটি শিলিগুড়ি থেকে মাত্র 68 কিলোমিটার দূরে অবস্থিত । এই শহরটি সমুদ্রপৃষ্ঠ থেকে 1495 মিটার উচ্চতায় অবস্থিত । অনেক ভ্রমণ প্রেমী মানুষ রয়েছেন যারা চা বাগান দেখতে দার্জিলিঙ আসেন, তাদের উদ্দেশ্য বলছি উত্তর বঙ্গের অপরূপ চা বাগানের সৌন্দর্য উপভোগ করতে হলে আপনাকে অবশ্যই মিরিক ভ্রমণ করতে হবে । মিরিক ভ্রমণে আপনি যা যা দেখতে পারেন: প্রথমেই মিরিক যাওয়ার পথে পড়বে সুকনা ফরেস্ট, পানীঘাটা পিকনিক স্পট, দুঁধিয়া, বালাসন ব্রিজ, নাম না জানা অপূর্ব সব চা বাগান, বিখ্যাত টিংলিং ভীউ পয়েন্ট ও টিংলিং চা বাগান, মিরিক লেক বা সুমেন্দু লেক, মিরিক পার্ক, লেকের মাঝে অবস্থিত শিব মন্দির, মিরিক বৌদ্ধ মোনাস্ট্রি, গোপালধুরা চা বাগান, পশুপতী ফটক, সীমানা ভীউ পয়েন্ট, সুখিয়া পোখরী, লেপচাজগত ইত্যাদি । এছাড়াও আপনি ঘোড় সাওয়াড়ী, বোট বা স্পীড বোট চালানো, এমনকী মিরিক লেকে বসেই কাশ্মীরের “শিকারা” এর আনন্দ উপভোগ করতে পারেন । আবার আপনি দার্জিলিঙ এর একটি সাইট সিন হিসেবেও মিরিক ঘুরতে আসতে পারেন অথবা মিরিক ভ্রমণ করে দার্জিলিঙ চলে যেতে পারেন । এই শৈল শহর দুটির মাঝে দূরত্ব মাত্র 39 কিলোমিটার ।
