I suggest wearing the dive weights around your ankle when flying. They won't be in your luggage,but may cause problems thru screening.

Hi I just saw your video, very nice one! for your diving weights: I always put as many as I can in the hand carry luggage, and the rest in the checked in luggage! Most of the times they let me keep 3 or 4 diving weights in the hand luggage, sometimes even all of them!

Nora you can buy pouches that fit around your waste in dive shops that seal. You can fill them with sand or stones. So that way you don't need to travel with dive weights. Lots more tips for you if you want them. Your dads a lucky guy!

So you are half bulgarian or what :) i live in Kiten which is like 5 km away from that beach. I do freediving and spearfishing and had thoughts of getting metal detector myself, so that video tilting the scales to yes and i have to thank you. Subscribed and looking forward for new videos ;)

Blagodarq ti mnogo😊 Full Bulgarian but I moved to the US when I was 7 years old. I've always wanted to try spearfishing. You should definitely get a detector and search all the beaches near Kiten and Primorsko. Ako kupish detector vzemi Minelab Excalibur 2.🙂👍
Avoiding weights when traveling by air. It's not ideal, but large nylon pockets on the sides of your belt and add local rocks at the search site. I've loaned my weights to my daughter during our underwater searches and I've had to stuff rocks in my BC. Not ideal, but it works. Especially if your just needing a little added weight to keep you down and stable.

As far as the diver weights, and travelling problem...could you just mail the weight, to your hotel destination, before leaving home, and then, mail it back home, just before you leave the hotel? Just a suggestion, so you don't have to travel with it. Great work. Quick, efficient, and to the point. 👍☀️👍
