  • AER Guest Randy Pobst Tears up NJ Motorsports Park Lightning in an essentially "stock" 1994 BMW E36 325. He was kind enough to join the inaugural race for American Endurance Racing race series. In this short video he takes fast time of the weekend (FTW) while not once, but twice removing his hands completely from the steering wheel. The more you know!

That's the radio push-to-talk (PTT) button. No nitrous at anything fancy 😉

2:01 I never tried the steer-by-knee technique on Lightning but as luck has it, I will find myself there Sunday so I will try it.

He really uses all the width of the track.

What is the button on the left side of the steering wheel he's pushing at 0.30?
