The Swiss national team has always risen to the occasion and have played some very competitive games against Canada as of late, especially the game in 2006 when they shut us out. Great game here, that's why I'm watching it around 3 years after it happened. :)

Ya but typically Canada-Switzerland games tend to be suprisingly hard fought, Switzerland might not have a lot of talent but they play a very diciplined team game.
They play a trap game...they have to play like that. No denying their incredible improvement the last 20 years.

Jonas Hiller was the best player in the 2010 Olympics as well as the most important to his team. He carried the Swiss and put then on another level

Canada actually played a crap game. Lot of key turnovers in their own zone...Swiss didn't convert.

Id forgot about this game, if it wasn't for Hiller and a little bad luck score should have been 6 -2 Canada , Canada dominates the game and in true Swiss fashion they squeak out a couple of shit goals and bam they are back in it !!! Being out played and shot badly and riding a hot goalie !!

Nedermeyer played like shit, Brodeur sucked. There were a few on this team that probably shouldn't have been. Those two I mentioned for starters. Pronger seemed to struggle. Getzlaf coughed up the puck several times, very unusual for him.
