Whats really uncanny is yesterday I watched an Aussie video with the same tent set up and how it made it easier for their life style.
Well consider me jealous and intrigued by those conversions. Takes the Jeeps to new levels.
Hi Y'all. This is a great idea to gain a LOT OF SPACE enclosed in warmth. Setup and get going in the mornings would also be less time. Certainly there's a few compromises. But at ALL still a GREAT idea.
There are some really nice bike trailers that weigh almost nothing ideally for off-road conditions.
I'm very excited to see the next few episodes how "OUR" home evolves....🤠

If you are looking for a great heater for these wonderful units check out the Propex propane forced air heater. Same size as a diesel furnace without the castle of hauling diesel. They are sold out of Nanimo BC i believe. I put one in our Alucab Khaya and my wife is very happy camping in the cold again. Love your videos .
Beautiful conversion of the jeeps. I can well understand your motives. Since we ourselves have been traveling for 25 years with a similar roof conversion, I can tell you that it opens up a whole new range of possibilities and raises life in the vehicle to a very pleasant level. Awesome changes and upgrades so far! Surprisingly, the Europeans know a LOT about Jeeps, as we left most of the ones used in WW2 over there at the end of the war. People over there love them! Great that one of my fellow Texans has taken the JXL concept and branded it with his unique style.
Fun times ahead ! I’ve had a Jeep and a 4Runner and they’re capable ,great, long lasting vehicles. But not much room . You all amazed me with your ability to live in them ! So I watch your videos and adventures .
I’ve seen a new cab/ tent replacement before but not the extension -- looks substantial ! Can’t wait to see the girls enjoying their new found room

I see you went to the Big Texan Steak House. That place is a trip. Great steaks, good food, fun atmosphere. I got to go when I was an OTR trucker. Very nice rebuild of the Jeeps.

What made you decide to stay with the Wrangler as opposed to building out a Gladiator which has higher load limits factory, and do one of the off road type camper/ topper type deals that you can pop up and have interior space.
Ersa Minor has had those same exact tops just not extended , for years now . Many TH-camrs have them , i have seen one in person about 2 years ago. On a orange youtubers rubicon . Like i said same exact top just not extending the jeep body.. looks nice only thing is they should have used like factory seam sealer instead of silicon which drys up where seam sealer stays pliable ..
Growing up in Amarillo and now living a few hours south, it's really great to have such company practically local... At least local for Texas, lol. I'm excited to see how the rigs are in the wild.

@@SimplyLesa Hmm ya I see the benefits of it for sure. I think instead of dumping money into that it would be more cost efficient to just find a 4dr 08/09 Jeep JK and gut the inside and sleep in it if you wanted more room for that.
