Melasma is on an increasing trend in our society partly because of increasing use of whitening creams.
1st step in management would be staying away from local formula creams and secondly start treatment by some qualified Dermatologist.

Examples of sunscreens available in Pakistan are Spectrablock cream, Suncoat cream, skin aqua Clear white sunblock lotion, Solaris ultra sunblock lotion etc
Tinted sunscreens include solotan sunblock cream, absolute sunblock cream.
Skinoren cream is used for melasma. Sometimes Doctor Will prescribe you a combination strong medicine that is made up of 3 ingredients e.g Şirin plus cream, Retrieve cream etc
Procedures available for treatment of melasma include Pico laser, Q switch laser, microneedling, mesotherapy, chemical peeling etc
