Though I take care with Bharatiya Commune first with +2 million casualties alone from me. After capitulating Communard France for a while, they'll surrender & leave 3rd Internationale. Time to take care with Britain (The allied force IMO enough to hold Asian front for a time being) - Invading Russia could be hard, took me from 1945-1948 to finally capitulate her. Ensure still having non-agression pact with Entente - Finally comes a pain to invade Syndicalist America. Could be pain during naval combat, but with many encirclement they'll run out of manpower as somehow AI USA (No matter which side won civil war) don't raising their conscription law beyond "Volunteer only" - Taking care with Entente is relative easy compared to before, as they virtually exhausted from long war. With this, I just managed to conquered all major nations as KR Japan after 1952 😅.
I will say, for supporting in the 2ACW I think you should have gone for the Pacific States, they actually have a chance of joining the co-prosperity sphere, so you could have avoided that last war from the CSA, though, they also have a chance of joining the entente but having a chance of joining the CPS is better than no chance. But I still enjoyed the video, might see if I can use to help my Japan game in future
I've never seen the PSA joining the Co-Prosperity Sphere. Well, I actually saw once, but it was a player who made the decison to join Japan, not the AI, at least in Kaiserreich. Usually what happens is Japan demands the subjugation of Hawaii and gets other islands which were once occupied by the USA, so it makes the American AI less likely to ally with the Japanese. Besides, the PSA usually recieves support from the Entente, so once the war is over, they join the Canadians as a compesation for the help they recieved during the CW. Like you said, it is possible they join the Japanese faction, but very unlikely, so I guess it's not really worth helping any faction.

If you abandoned India right away you would have enough troops to defend all of your ports and lands until you build up for offensive. But honestly even if you did everything right it would probably take you 10-20 years to finish this and by that time every single county would become major, and that would make hoi4 into real time strategy game because its poorly optimized. To help you out i made scenario of what would have happened if USA declared war. Russia storms trough unprotected border, liberating Mongolia, Manchuria, Sinkiang and Korea, but as Japanese abandoned India they ordered all of their puppets army to protect Bejing area and outskirts of Gobi desert. American army invaded Hawaii, Philippines and parts of Indonesia. Japanese navy abandoned all of their pacific Islands and focused on defending home islands wile thousands of their troops are still stuck in Indonesia and other Pacific Islands, they are ordered to fight until death. China and Burma are still not yet lost despite brutal battles. After 5 years of war Japanese army is eradicated from Pacific, on home Islands government of Japan mobilized everyone from age 8-70, but international didnt invade yet. Japanese puppets either collapsed or turned syndicalist, hating Japan for millions of people they lost fighting for them. Japanese army in China is over run, no attempt to save them was made by government. Soon Japan collapsed into state of civil war as nation was isolated during war, and enemy bombardment, war expenses, and two nukes caused famine. Syndicalists conquered entire world and Japan became USA occupation zone.
That, uh, makes little sense. A heavily fortified Hawaii essentially slams the door shut on the Pacific for the US. An utterly miserable slog across the Aleutians is about the only route left at that point, and that's the kind of theatre where the US' numerical advantages are damn near meaningless because the limitations of terrain and weather sharply limit the amount of forces that can be engaged at all.

I think Japan in vanilla has a good potential but its wasted, in kr the focus tree is amazing and is not that diffrent from a vanilla tree so it makes playing japan very fun, doesn't matter what ideology.
The fun thing about Japan is that the more people you have in the faction the better your economy gets, to an insane degree. So it’s better to release people as puppets and just dominate their economies

IMO the major mistake is he decided to occupy the former East Indies rather puppeting them. The AI usually won't hold frontline in a state controlled by player nation, I think more wise to puppeting them so the AI will hold the invading force while he take care to somewhere else. When I playing KR Japan, I never directly occupied former German East Asia & Dutch East Indies after peace deal. I rather puppeting them if possible, so in case I lost naval combat the AI force could hold the invaders for a time being.
Wish I could disable South America in kaiserredux to sowed the game up. Maybe my pc just shit but it annoying that a continent I 99% don’t fight in is spamming divisions
