The technical and detailed flows from Tablo and Mithra Jin, the venom and attitude but also poetic bars, that almost elegant piano based beat into the filthy beat switch... Even as someone who's clueless about the khh scene, 'antihero' is just so loaded with stuff to sink my teeth into.

they're on a US tour later this year. highly highly recommend going if you can. tablo is a fucking comedian. the show was so much fun

Thank you for the reaction! Epik High is so freaking good! Tablo is probably dissing his haters at least for part of this seeing as they almost destroyed his life and career in the past.
The part is the beginning is sampling from one of their previous songs called Lesson Zero, which is referencing a song from their first album called Lesson One. (There are also Lessons Two and Three but i forget which albums they're on.) The layers never end with these guys! They're amazing live too if you ever get the chance to see them!

Oh yeah, they got beef for sure. Tablo even did a podcast about it with iheartradio called The Story of Tablo. It's wild, he basically had the whole of Korea against him, and only because the general population didn't believe he had a Stanford degree. I highly recommend the podcast.

The part that Tablo said "you dont know anything about me shut up: is from an interview from buzzfeed bff test [ link: th-cam.com/video/-YjhS4mNjiA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=4bbotPV8cG2xft6U ] and the beginning of the song is a sample of a song of Tablo's from their album Epik High is Here part 1 song called Lesson Zero [so they are using a lot of their own samples into the songs like Easter eggs for fans(high skool) )
