Thomas ian griffith who play Terry Silver is 6ft5 and also ralph macchio as Daniel is older than Thomas, shocking isn't what's crazy they're both in their 60s
When Daniel says his proud Miguel didn't get into a switch blade fight, that's a reference to the 1983 film The Outsiders where Ralph Macchio's character kills a high school rival with a switch blade.
The "Miyagi Fang" kids being the aggressors, and Terry Silver as the voice of reason at Cobra Kai. This series never ceases to confound my expectations, and yet each new development flows on logically from what's gone before.
Beautifully said right here. Beautifully said I can’t agree more with what you said here. This show really knows how to unexpectedly flip the scripts that we initially think and believe the show is moving in and really mess with our expectations. The writing of this show is top tier genius
Me too. Daniel meant well… but they didn’t avoid conflict. All they did was pick a fight and walk away from it. That’s not gonna do anything except create more of a reason for Cobra Kai to retaliate. Johnny was right in this case. Daniels just projecting himself onto Miguel.
I saw both sides of it. Daniel was just glad that they didn't get involved in a fight but he shouldn't be okay with pranking them. Also Johnny seemed like he rather that they fight them rather than pick a fight then don't follow through with it and he's blinded by his jealousy of Miguel's bonding with Daniel.
I mean I get both sides from this and Johnny & Daniel are both wrong in this situation, but I’m more on Johnny’s side from this situation, because Miguel, Hawk, Demetri, Sam did pick a fight, they didn’t show up and they lured them to the baseball diamond so they can turn on the waterhose, but they did pull a prank on them causing Cobra Kai to retaliate and make the situation worse, and this whole thing does make sense because he feels like Daniel is taking Miguel away from him, just like how Daniel took Robby away from him, and he is jealous of Daniel bonding with Miguel, and the fact that he is bonding with Sam as well.
In fairness to Hawk, his first interaction with Kenny was seeing him about to throw a punch at Bert and Nate. Bert and Nate were being bullies, but Hawk doesn't know that and I think most people in that situation would go help their friends before asking questions. Not sure why he felt the need to bully him at the drive-in though.
@@grantmcroberts4089 I agree, but again from Hawk's perspective he thought Kenny was striking first and he didn't go out of his way to actually hurt Kenny, he just got him against the wall.

Not many people realize this, but Daniel made a huge throwback comment about another movie he was in during this episode. Daniel said, "What'd you want them to do, get into a Drive-In Switchblade Fight?" Ralph Macchio (Daniel) was in the movie, " The Outsiders, where he was literally in a DriveIn Switchblade Fight & killed a guy named Bob. There were the Greasers and Socias, & he played a Greaser. It is even more funny that Ralph Macchio's name was Johnny in that movie. 🤣🗡🤣
But won a title as the good guy I personally like him as a good guy because now the good guys have a stacked team Miguel Eli Robby and Sam all star team and that’s unbeatable in season 6 I think cobra Kai is screwed
Sean Kanan said he saw two possibilities for Mike Barnes to return. One, Barnes got worse after KK3 and is still a bad guy today. The other possibility that he liked was that Mike Barnes got into more trouble after KK3 and was given a choice of prison or joining the military and he joins the military and the military straightens him out. In KK 3, Daniel's trauma was emotional, mental and physical. He realized how close he came to destroying his relationship with Mr. Miyagi by being manipulated by Silver and his minions. In his youthful enthusiasm, he tries to make Mr. Miyagi's dream of a bonsai store happen, The bullying to compete happens, things begin to spiral down, Daniel feels responsible and the harder he tries to fix things, the more bad decisions he makes.
I understand what Hawk was trying to do but he did it in a bully kind of way getting in his place, threatening him to leave Cobra Kai, but what he did at the Drive-In is not okay and that is what made Robby wanted to get revenge on him in the first place.
In season 3 trailer Tory is showing up in the laser tag against the myiagi do, but some fans theorized that she was working on a strip club, so i think the creators brought this as a reference, if not so is a hell of a coincidence

Poor Demetri, Yasmin won't be happy today. But he asked for it, when he strikes Johnny Lawrence, sure thing he gets into trouble. Which his kick BTW did nothing to Johnny. When John Kreese, introduces Terry Silver, he starts with lying. Terry is the founder, CK is registered on his name, that is what matters to me, Kreese is the Co. founder. Terry did nothing bad to Robby, he trained him, I can see he was even gentle in his strikes, and gave him good advice, that's true priceless teaching. A martial arts teacher, should be rough with his students, as I will be when I will teach one day, that's totally fine. Sam Larusso is a fucking bitch! Not that Tory was a saint, but there was no need for an unprovoked attack, as Tory did nothing new. I love the drive in scene. The way that everyone look at Demetri is like- "Where the hell did you pop out from?" Came out of nowhere, hilarious. Interesting how Sam is ready to defend Hawk. But one thing was true, Robby is a traitor to Miyagi-Do, and Hawk is a traitor to CK. I love it how Miguel gave the Cobras a shower. And seeing Kyler defending Kenny, first time I think he cares about anyone. The last scene when Terry enters Miyagi-Do, is so epic, Daniel that evil bastard peed in his pants, while making a firm pose. Johnny's face is like-"Who the fuck is that guy?!" I don't think the similar sprinkler tactic was a coincidence, especially when Johnny repeats the "with a hose" when he summarizes their story.
This is one of the best instances as to why I hate Robby's character. Miguel kicked his ass easily in the school fight, and then Robby threw a temper tantrum about losing and kicked him in the back. And then acts like he won.
