Yeah CC is killing it with the droids hope more variants are made with printing potentially. Btw $15 for a decal clone is criminally expensive especially 180 degree ones.
Before watching this, I was pretty firm on the battle droids being good and perfect as they are and all of that while fitting the lego style, but I have to say, I think an update would be very suitable and lego really should do that because those customs are so good while staying faithful to both lego and starwars, we really should have proper adjustable legs at the very least and I'm kinda surprised we don't, I completely forgot the legs were just one solid piece
for all the shit the droids get for being literally the most based minifigs, their lack of articulation is kinda justified, they are specifically made from a basic, very recognisable pieces that can easily be reused for alternative builds, and at the end of the day, that is what lego is all about - being able to have fun no matter the config.
