Congratulations you guys. Hell of a payday and I hope you can get more of those big ass transformers and stators. You deserve some steaks on the grill. I like the new blues music you been working into the videos lately. Sounds good man. I'm pretty sure you like Johnny Winter, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Allman Brothers, etc.
Man your scrapyard is just insane,I dug some of that big extrusion Ibeam out of a Dunkin’ doughnuts they were building they use it for the drive up😅 this has been the greatest scrap out of all time so many different things so many hurdles to overcome love the channel
Moving right along i see good helper enjoy how you set your stuff up from getting the machine to separate the one things got it turned in then the boiler to burn stuff off can you do that are is it a pain just to run gov wise you put some stuff out there and hope make money you are ok with
What happens to all of the casing material that you are dumping off to your left from the small transformers (up to about 14:00)? Is it all steel that gets sold elsewhere, or something else?
On the locked transformers would the blade slice off one side of the copper and then press it out with a forked driver on the press instead of grinding them?
If you take and burn all your copper from transformers and motors will your scrapyard give you number one price once the varnish is burned off of the wire or do you think it is worth it
@@ProjectShopFl I just tried the meat cleaver on a stator so tight, my cutters wouldn't go under windings, but meat cleaver worked well to cut all the way down to the steel core on one side, so other side could be pryed out.
Greetings from Riviera Beach. Floridai had delivery out here today. And unfortunately I didn't have time to stop off and try and act like a stalker. It's nice to see Steve. They're visiting and helping out. Yes, you definitely got a nice chunk of copper to go to the scrapyard. Do you still have your rumble page up what? @@ProjectShopFl Unfortunately, I was delivering at 1400, at a port. Then instead of parking in the area, I had to rescue a load ASAP in Vero Beach. I'm not even getting a break in areas I want to. Either due to load constraints or time of day and search for a place to park overnight.😕😭
I'm glad to see Steve back in the shop. Just wasn't the same without him puttering around in the background.

An Excellent comment. Here's a reply ! Surely this'll help the algorithm.
Cool little duck truck!
I thought the same. Thanks for sticking till the end. 👊
You should get some chaps for your legs when grinding like that
Thanks for the suggestion
Wow timed this right . Just sat down to do dishes!!
Nice! 👍
Great video like always. The last 3 transformers I took apart were double aluminum. Highly disappointed. lol
You got to check them before you start to process them.
Dust, dust, dust, you definitely need the mask, viewing from County Sligo Ireland 🇮🇪 🇺🇦🤠🚲📷✍
It was bad
Please excuse my ignorance, I sincerely don’t know… but can you share why you where a respirator mask when you extract the copper from transformers?
There is a lot of dust from the slack glue and fiberglass

Yes I sell the steel local.
That stripper they had seemed to do a good job, but needs some of your speed modifications made to it lol.
It's a good machine but like you said sloooow. lol
over 6k not a bad weeks work
Thanks!

Possibly I'd have to give it a try.
Watchin Steve is like watchin paint dry.
😂😂😂😂😂
A man of few words. Its seems his hat says it all
You need to start a new descriptor “Chunk-Nuggets”
😂😂😂 Thanks!

I think it will bet considered #2 and they will buy iy but it's not worth it.
You always lose some weight in the copper when you burn it anyway. Even if they did upgrade it, it would basically be a wash after all the effort
If you are a good customer at your scrapyard, they may buy it as #1 burnt copper.
🎉
👍👍👍👍
I bet the people that sold those big trans are watching the video.maybe there price will increase.i would buy them all up quick time before
Thanks for the suggestion
They are probably glad to have them processed because now when they come back, they'll make more money from them. Everyone wins.
35:59 I wonder if my meat cleaver could do the job without wasting Copper using grinder?
Possibly but would be a lot of work!
@@ProjectShopFl I just tried the meat cleaver on a stator so tight, my cutters wouldn't go under windings, but meat cleaver worked well to cut all the way down to the steel core on one side, so other side could be pryed out.

No, Not Really!
