You make it so easy and quick .Dag hope it works for me next time I fire the forge I am wanting some coat hooks. Thanks Man you are good at what you teach.
Gosh, Brian makes it look easy. I tried it with a 5/8th bar and didnt even get close. I bent it over an the early blows to the top (I'm guessing my initial fullering wasnt deep enough. Man he's good .....
Jake, I have private classes where people forge and learn how to make these hammers and the tools needed to make the hammer, so they can go home and hopefully make them with others. I will make them for anyone that asks, or you can have one made by some of the students that have been here like Alec Steele, Dave Custer, or Aaron Cergol.
I own one of theese 3.5 lb rounding hammers and they are simply. The best all around hammer. Balances very well an really moves metal well. Iam anxious to take one of Brian's. Week long class. Everyone has said how amazing it is just saving my pennies and hopefully soon I can get a spot JP
@bigyoda12 Brian hand forged his hammer with a strker, it is a "forged to finish" rounding hammer. He makes them for anyone who askes for one, they are 250. Brian also offers private instruction in hs shop where you learn to make and mantain your own tools, includng the hammer.

How heavy are those hammers, and what section do you make them from?
How can someone get a hold of one of these Hammers??
@frozenwalkway
Hi, 3/4" mild steel

Keep in mind, anyone can do anything he does with practice!
