    Thank you for sharing sir, laking tulong ito.. tanong lang sir.. ano fomula ng conductor MVA kung naka parallel?

      Same formula pa din nama sir pero dahil may parallel conductor kana, kunin mo muna yung equivalent impedance ng parallel conductors kung paano tayo nagka-calculate ng parallel impedance, bago i-substitute sa formula

    Very good technical video po. Very useful. Question lang po, meron bang lower limit ang motor loads wherein all motor less than that HP limit ay hindi na i.consider sa short circuit calculation?

      SMath Studio sir. Free version ng PTC Mathcad. Mas maganda sana yung Mathcad kaso mahal. Magandang gamitin tong SMath Studio.

      All 3phase motors sir lang isama mo yung directly connected sa panel.

    Sir ask ko lang po hindi na po kailangan i convert sa per unit yung impedance sa cable kasi yung reactances kasi sa motor at generator naka per unit lahat except lang sa cable kasi naka ohmic yung unit eh..

      Yung 20 sa calculation ng MVA2 ay galing sa short circuit MVA of M1 which is equal to 2MVA/10% impedance

    Sir question po what if po pag may transfer switch in between ng mdp at genset. Pag icocompute po ba yung short circuit nun assume na nakapatay yung isang supply?

      Theoretically oo kung wala naman way para mag sabay yung utility at genset supply. Pero compute mo separately yung naka genset at naka utility supply kung ano yung mas mataas na SSC sa bus yun ang i consider mo

    Question lang po. What if %R and %X ang given sa cable? diba much better na kasama si resistance? bale ndi na MVA method ang gagamitin? thanks po

      Yes. MVA method is just an alternative method na pwedeng gamitin for quick calculation pero p.u. method ang recommended

      @@RandyAmorchannel last question po, panu po gamitin ang MVA method if ang network ay naka delta to be converted to wye connection? i mean panu po formula? parang sa 3 bus system na naka triangle ang formation.

    Sir patulong naman ..example ng pag kuha mga impedance ng xlpe cable na may sets length and core ..tas pano sir pag sinabing short circuit for 1/2 cycle and 30 cycle ?? Sana po mabasa nyo to ..thanks in advance

      Yung impedance ng cables ay makikita sa data sheets ng mga cables, normally R and X per km ang given sa data sheets then kunin mo nalang yung Z using pythagorean theorem. Pag parallel conductors naman i-solve mo yung equivalent impedance using parallel impedances sa circuti analysis. Yung cycle naman is kung ilang repitiion ng sine wave. Kung sa pinas meron tayong 60Hz ibig sabihin meron tayong 60 cycles/sec. 1/2 cycle = 0.5 cycles/60cycles per sec, the same way yung 30 cycles is equal to 30/60 unit is seconds.

      Thank you sir.. sa computation kunwari may schedule of loads tayo ang isasama lang natin ay motor or yung rotating load.. included ba dito may mga compressor kahit maliit..( aircon , ref , )?? Dun naman po sa tanong ko na una.. kunwari nakuha na natin sa table yung resistance and reactance ohms per km ng cable ...paano kapag 8 sets per line .. idivide ko sya ng 8 ? Tas multiply lang sa length ? may nakita kase ako na ganun ginawa.. tama po ba?

      @@sirdenstv9747 sir pag dating sa ref at aircon considered na small appliance sila so tingin ko pwede na sila hindi isama pero kung madami na e may effect na yun. Pagdating naman sa parallel conductors actually dapat i-apply naten yung calculation ng parallel circuits. Pero kung titignan naten yung requirement ng PEC tungkol sa pag gamit ng parallel conductors, dapat lahat ng conductors ay identical so in effect magiging equal ang impedances nila at pag ginamit mo yung formula ng parallel impedances lalabas na direct division lang ng number of conductors. So pwede yun as shortcut method basta identical yung conductors in parallel.
