If you ask me, vaporwave is still really cool. Plus, It's so easy to make, you could do it in your sleep.
Nitro Kappa's next album ,"Starring at the Screen," will drop June 25th, 2022. That's when Windows 98 cam out in 1998.

*EXOTIC BUTTERS*
my favorite genre. born in the 90’s & these songs make me nostalgic. crazy how people can reinvent a classic sound.
I was born in the 2000's but my dad raised me on stuff from the 80's and 90's. Vaporwave is the best genre
The nice thing is often sounds, samples, or whole tracks in vw are simultaneasly fitting in the 90s and the (latter half) of the 80s.
Coming from an 80s and 90s kid ,)
80s baby here, I feel like the decade you’re born in saturates your perceptions and bakes in that nostalgia, but I was more of a person making their own choices in the 90s and remember a lot more from that time period
Even though I was born in 2012, I really like Vaporwave and Synthwave!
@@SobiAnimatorJPi'm born in the 2000s and i love Vaporwave! 💜

Beat me to it, lol
Yeah and when his voice isn’t distorted he sounds like Andy field
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I understood that reference ☝️
Thanks Glamrock Freddy
Vaporware the music that gets you high. I realize this was a bad joke, but I just had to crack it ... Like a butter stick.
Glemrock Freddy Voice + FNAF SL Reference + Vaporwave = *THE REAL DEFINITION OF PERFECTION*
Vaporwave is so wonderful. Tho born in the 90s, still makes me think of the malls when they were sort of at their peak before online shopping became popular.
Mallsoft
You really did describe the sounds of everything really well because the 80s drums, tropical sounds, and the elevator sound really makes people feel nostalgic and thats what vaporwave is
I actually really like vaporwave for this chill and nice nature.
Doesn’t sound all that corporate to me. The vibe is just chill. I listen to it when chilling out or needing to focus. Sorta helps get me in the mood for drawing artwork too.
One of my favorite genres for sure.
Dreamcore and webcore are also good.
Agreed. I believe the more corporate elements come into play with vaporwave's subgenres like mallsoft, utopian virtual, faux utopian, broken transmission, etc. There are more chill subgenres like late night lofi, future funk, or vhs pop. Some more ambient ones like slushwave and hypnagogic drift. A wide variety of vaporwave vibes to suit your needs :)
Y'know, the whole corporate parody thing flies right over my head when I listen to vaporwave. It's just chill, aesthetic music.
Casual bongos
Nice video. I hope to make some vaporwave one day
He said the thing!!!
Glamrock Freddy is explaining Vaporwave to us, now shut up!
Bro bought back a forgotten memory with *E X O T I C B U T T E R S*
I love this. Hope one day you can make a longer about crafting these awesome tunes, this really inspires me ❤
😍🖤Veporwave
This is essentially meme vaporwave. Vaporwave has tons of subgenres
Oh yeah, absolutely! If I had more time I would've gone over more specific stuff. My favorite subgenre is utopian virtual; I really like the cool Sim City vibes.

This is dope bro!
0:46 comes my favorite part
I don't know why, but it's so addictive to put videos together. While I'm uploading one, I get inspired for another one.
damn i love cocaine and i love vaporwave i think this is something special yes it truly is.
Are u actually on it or is that a quote from something
Personally my favorite genre *chef kiss*
Vaporwave is a genre of electronic music invented for the internet, by the internet.
It relies heavily on samples from 90s music and software, but, for the most part, sounds like a cross between smooth jazz and elevator musak
Ultimately it will never become truly popular because the vaporwave community concentrates more on the aesthetic gimmick than the actual music
😂
i love this shot
Is it possible to create some good vaporwave using only free software?
That’s when windows 98 came out
That's right
Why aren't on spotify your so talented man
Thanks Freddy
Any time, Gregory. Any time.
Okay, who bought fl studio for Glamrock Freddy?!?
Gregory, is this a vibe?
Please make more tutorials on the wave genres, you’re one of the very few that doesn’t just make a shitty retrowave track and call it vaporwave.
Where do you get the audio for these?
a a a. D o t o r n a d o
Where did you find panflutes?
It's a preset for Sytrus, an FL stock synth. Look in the DX7 category for a preset called "Pan Flute."
@@NitroKappa thank you

Happy belated birthday!
nahhhhhh not the exotic butters
Vaporwave is subliminal opera that use frequency exposure to induce a day dream like effect where you are able to imagine the story without an actual script.
If you watch the vaporwave visual compilations, you'll realize each one has a different story. I believe they use the 80's and 90's corporate images for the simple fact that there is so much available footage of literally every race and gender performing every emotion a human can experience. Story tellers use these images to create a "silent movie" style event set to music.
They are made for people to watch while high on acid and I'll tell you how I know, there is one compilation made by a guy and his son, the video starts out with you dropping acid, have it start kicking in then you and your friends are told "okay let's go" and you're given a car, a bunch of money, and you go on a tour of the american northwest and some parts of the Pacific. Having been to some of the places really deepens the immersion of the "trip" youre on cause it pings the nostalgia just right
Grand Maul is like Grand Mal seizures, I like it. And also have you done acid?
@@nukacolacompany2534 yeah and its pretty fun, akin to being drunk without the alcohol and you dont go to sleep til it wears off. If you want a video for context on this phenomenon, watch "Quality Entertainment" in the context of it being an acid experience. Then go back and watch the a e s t h e t i c compilations and you'll see the contrast between old vaporwave and new vaporwave. Also the genre was started by THE psychedelic music guy
I'M SORRY DID YOU USE AN IMAGE ORIGINATING FROM ANIMUSIC?

Pitch it down 200 cents and add Fruity Chorus with the default preset.

Wait his voice what is it called
Sounds annoying and goofy af
this isnt vaporwave tho
vaporwave uses songs released in the 80's, not songs you created using 80's elements
slushwave is a subgenre of vaporwave, and slushwave tracks can be written from scratch
I like the sound, not so much for the artwork. I think we can do better
