You can participate as one person in the challenge by applying the choreography in the tutorial video to your own dance. Thank you 😊😊😊😊

Is it okay to have male dancers in buchaechum???

_Buchaechum_ as it evolved from the 1950s to the present has never had men being part of the presentations. Being a "modern traditional" art form created in the 20th century it's understandable how it became so set in stone so quickly and isn't inclusive of many new details (gender being one of them), and it's been mostly accepted as such in Korean communities around the world. Keep in mind that there are authentic traditional dances that are preserved/revived from the Joseon era that _can_ have solo male performance and feature a fan, but they're very slow and graceful, and are austere in presentation (no bright colors or ornamental fan use).
Look up 선비춤 here on TH-cam for examples of seonbichum, which are (revivals of) male Confucian scholars dancing for royalty during the Joseon era.
