Actually, I've never met a hairdresser who could cut my bangs correctly. So I began to do it myself, very slowly and step by step... And it worked! It was far better than the hairdresser result. But I just guess they weren't that talented😅

I've been cutting mine since I was in middle school, alot of hairdressers in my area dont like too because bangs are "out of style" or they dont cut it like I want them to look. so I just don't myself.
I’ll never understand why people are shocked when their bangs come out super short, like honey you pulled your bangs down & cut them, when you release the tension obviously they’re going to spring up making them shorter than they looked while you were pulling down stretching the hair out.

Actually, I cut my curtain bangs just a couple days ago following your tutorial and it's a killer! Even though I've made a couple of tiny mistakes (of course) cause I'm no hairstylist, it's still the best bangs in my life! Like literally, I've never had my fringe looking this good even when I had it cut at hairdresser's. So I just wanted to really thank you, Brad! You made it soo easy! I'm a cosplayer and I can BARELY cut bangs on a wig without having a breakdown. These people have more guts than I ever could muster up...
Well, real hair grows back. If you mess up cutting a wig you gotta buy a new one and those ain't cheap for good quality. I had a friend who wanted to cut bangs on a long wig to make it look like a certain character. She cut them way too short and I said that to her, but she just said "no it looks just like the character!"

Try parting your hair on the side for a while. Sometimes it can hide mistakes till your hair grows back.
I tried curtain bangs too and luckily they were still long enough to tuck behind my ears because they didn’t turn out well.

Edit: So I actually got them and I don't really regret it because earlier i looked ugly as eff, but now, its a lot better. Also, they're long enough so that I can even put them with the other hair starnds in a ponytail. I really liked all the new hairstyles I could try because of this haircut.
