Ksc is the original Taiwan brand, kwa was created for the US market/Europe, both have had their own lines with Cross overs like their Gbb Glock 17/18cs back in the mid 2000s , oddly enough Kwa did M4, Aks and so on aegs and pistols , ksc didn't do G36s or G3 if I remember correctly
got one recently, absolutely love it, wish I had gotten the original grip instead of the rail but I have made it work. Wish I had known it would arrive from WGC as a KSC, bought KWA mags thinking I was getting a KWA, I think the KSC mags are better purely for the follower holding feature Works fine either way. I put a lees power down valve in it, the - 35 fps valve wasn't enough, had to re open and put the -50fps valve in and it runs sweet. Working on this can be a bit fiddly but rewarding, bought spare disconnector just incase, hear that's the first thing to go, I'll run it till it breaks and likely get some WE-TECH parts if they ever bring them back into stock fully. Curious to see what you do with yours, I will likely post some pics of mine in the discord now lol
I heard at my local field in Southern CA, that KWA was discontinuing the MP9. Not sure how true it is but I have noticed they have been sold out everywhere. These are definitely difficult to work on. Replacing nozzle return springs, downgrading the cylinder valve, replacing the disconnector or the hammer, all tedious.
The mp9 isn’t made for green gas power it’s made for duster gas, I use summer gas in mine with the normal bolt and is just under the limit albeit won’t really work in winter.
I own a mp9 with rail didnt find one used with the original grip i like this gun it a lot. As a lefty its playable major issue is sometime when i shoot it can happen that i switch to full auto. For reloading i power stroke the slide it work well, sometime bolt catch fall alone when i insert a fresh mag strange but better for reloading. And i put maxbb minus 2 one for the nozzle and one to be sure not locking the button on the bottom of the mag. It happen and you think you overshoot but nothing came out of the gun
Oh man oh man, i rebuild like 7-8 OG KWA MP9 i found in the back of a shop. One even in box brand new. This one block always breaks so i had to make my own
Have the mp9 with suppressor and needed a tracer. Used the internals of the b and t tracer and padded it out with a roll of sellotape around it till a snug fit. Problem solved. I know you can get 3d printed inserts to put other tracers in but didn't have access to it. Hence the improvisation
Hey man. Actually a huge fan of your channel. New to gbb. Only have a aap01 at the moment. I chose the kmp9 based on your videos and the child in me who always wanted a KWA (being from the usa) . My fiance got it for me and its uder the tree. I already have a spare mag i ordered from kwa. And 2 spare nozzle return springs i think. Any other suggestions or tips to get the most out of my kmp9? I plan to get a shot shell adapter or a mp5 mag hpa adapter eventually, would i benifit from a cnc nozzle? Anything helps. Thank you. Greetings from north carolina.
Do you or anyone know where I can get a hammer reset spring. Part 71 in the uk. Everywhere is sold out and I don’t fancy paying almost £50 to get from Hong Kong for a £2 part

@@LimaPapaanot exatly the inner diameter from the nozzle is different if i remember i got the orange cup(i wanted the green but didn't find one) and it did'nt work with my piston i had to buy the wiitech cup should be the same size as the green

@@walterhickmaniii739 king, my FPS on my mp9 is so weak and I have no idea why, its at 0.8J with the stock valve and I have no idea why. If changing nozzle doesn't work I'm throwing it away 💀 so sick of it

I got a Kwa one at the ending of last year around I want to say October November and I put an HPA mag in it running at about a hundred PSI and I'm getting 1.1j my buddy bought one from a different retailer in Canada and his was shooting hot out of the box so what I think Kwa did was put a lower power valve from the CQB bolt. But a huge problem that I have I can't hop over .28's and for anyone that's going to comment that I need higher FPS I don't LOL
Well, my MP9 was shooting hot out of the box, about 2 joules, with the mock/angry. Without the mock it was clocking 1.6 joule, still too hot for fields here in my country. But I could lift .32's with about 60% of hop. Now that I changed the jetvalve for the -50FPS downgrade one that I got from milspecsolutions, it can't lift more than .30's, even with the hop maxed out. So, you need power to lift medium-heavy BB's on the MP9. I even put a brand new bucking hop up rubber to see if it was a problem with it, but it wasn't. Yesterday I bought a pack of 2,5mm bearing balls to change the 2mm one that is used a hop up nub. In a few days I'll see if I can lift .32's again with this mod ;-)
@BobWilliam oh that's a very smart idea please let me know if the ball bearing idea works. Ya i hesr you i just need to do some more testing to see maybe your right i do need more fps.
@@natantuhman7255 In fact, you don't need more than 1J to play airsoft, but the MP9 needs, if you want to lift more tha .28's ;-) But you can always use .25's, it's a CQB oriented replica after all. GBB stuff is a very complex topic, there are no exact formulas for it to work properly. I'm in passionate love for a Marui AKX... but I know that if I buy one, I'll need to spend more money to make it lift anything above .25's. It's a Japanese replica 🙂
@BobWilliam ya like I'm cool with being under Joule limits or even being way under like 1j because I know range isn't necessarily effected my fps and joules your bucking and nub are the most important for range. I own a SRS and I was sniping for 3 years so I got a good understanding of fps and how it applies on the field so thats why I was thinking I should be able to hop .3s at 1.1j but it's just no too happy, I'm going to try to put my buddies hot bolt in and see if I can lift 3's. But ya i own 2 MWS's one by Marui and one is by guns modify and they can both lift .3s no problem and the Marui AK is apparently even better than the mws so u should be fine hoping up too .36 on the ak
@@natantuhman7255 Nice! The problem with AKX is the hop up arm, if i'm not mistaken. It won't give you the amount of pressure needed onto the nub. Saving money to see if I can get the AKX before december.
