Enjoy this relaxing Scenic drive down Race Point Beach Road and through famous Provincetown, Massachusetts (Ptown) to North Truro, Massachusetts. The Cape Cod national seashore stretches nearly the entire length north to south of Cape Cod's eastern shore to Provincetown. Race Point Beach, in Provincetown, Massachusetts is full of Cape Cod's iconic sand dunes which we have all heard mentioned in a song or two. The seagrass covered dunes play a vital role in protecting the shores of Cape Cod in storm surges.
Located across Cape Cod Bay from Boston, Massachusetts at the tip of Cape Cod, Provincetown sits at the end of Route 6 the highway through Cape Cod. Ptown is a PROUD welcoming community to all walks of life and the most interesting group of locals you'll ever meet, who truly embrace Cape life to its fullest. Cape Cod attracts visitors from across the northeast and beyond, from famous idyllic Cape Cod towns like Hyannis and Chatham, Ptown breaks the Cape Cod "town" mold.
