Robby haters have to realize that he has had a terrible home life. I know that isn’t an excuse for all the bad stuff he’s done. He isn’t perfect, but don’t act like Miguel or Hawk are perfect either. Hawk is a straight up bully and Miguel had a power trip during the last few episodes of the 1st season. You have to understand that Robby had a father who wasn’t there for him, a mother who was never around and let him do whatever he wanted. He never had any guidance in his life and never had anyone who truly he felt, cared for him. He has a lot of personal issues/demons, the season 1 shows that he’s a good kid, he’s just been led astray and is lost.
Robby is my favorite in the entire show right behind Daniel and right along with Miyagi, Demitri, and Hawk. He doesn’t deserve the hate he gets. If anything, he should deserve as much love as Miguel who is literally Daniel and Johnny warped into one. Robby has gone through a lot in just these past three seasons alone. His mom abandoned him for her boyfriend, he accidentally paralyzed Miguel, gone to juvie, and so and so forth. Robby is a tragic character and he just needs someone to help him and guide him to the right path. Someone like Chozen who in my opinion would be a great sensei for Robby.
He hasn’t caught a break sadly. Now he’s in the clutches of Kreese and Silver, thinks his girlfriend cheated on him, it’s all sad really. He needs redemption sooner or later.
Hes gonna be even stronger with Kresse though but its gonna be sad cause hes just being manipulated by Kreese into hating his farther to boost his anger to boost his fighting he just deserves something good in his life in my opinion

Makes me want to make that kid another story to add to give justice to him. It goes after he reject the offer of both sensei's he went to place which is controlled by yakuza. Then he got into fight with the kid who happens to be son of high ranking yakuza. He saw his potential so the official approach Robby and offer him a job, support for studies and train him another karate skills and kendo in return he will work with them. For many years Robby excel in his job, master other Japanese martial art, and finished his studies. Because of that he was relocate in Japan where he will work. There he found love with the daughter of Yakuza Boss. But he is afraid to fall in love again because of what happened when he was with Sam but he fight and tell the girl that he love her too. By the time that he will confess his feelings, his phone rang and he answer it. It was his coleauge calling him home and they will go to cargo ship to help other yakuza members defend the ship which was stormed by triads. He left the girl and rush home but before he left he told her that he will come back. They arrive in cargo ship where they heard gunfires. Many of their people died and some are wounded. One of the guy said they outnumbered. So Robby and his men use a tactics to retreat the triads. They made it but one the triads fire an RPG to gas chamber causing massive explosion.
(2/2) Robby and few of his men jump when they saw explosion. They give efforts to swim in the ocean where South China Sea and Pacific Ocean meet. Hoping they can reach shore of Japan because of three boats coming. But there hope loss when they recognize that the boat is not from Japan not yakuza but from the remaining members of the triads. They pick them up out of water and bring them in pier of shanghai where they inside the container and interrogate them. The triads found that they are useless so they shot them one by one. When it was Roby's turn he dodge the bullet and kick the shooter and there was a short cause they can't stop him. The boss stop the fight and beat him up. They saw that he was not easily to give up despite of wounds and bruises which they were impressed can be useful to thier organization. So they offer Robby to work with them in exchange of freedom and he agree. His work with them is not easy despite he is foreigner they despise him. But he ignore it because of his priority. During his work with triads hes exposed in gambling, underground business transactions and fights which they called him "Luō níng" learn many business concepts, his connections grew, and learn more chinese martial arts and medicine. One day, his boss called him and ask him to meet in coffee shop. There his boss told him to that his free to go which is happy.
But why Robby was good just his parents weren’t around him and he was misunderstood but Miguel isn’t bad too he just wanted Sam to himself Hawk was a bully and he changed but Robby is good too
