- Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway[1] is a 109 km (68 mi) long, four-lane wide (expandable to eight) access-controlled under-construction expressway in Gujarat, India. It will connect Sardar Patel Ring Road near Sarkhej in Ahmedabad with Adhelai village in Bhavnagar district via Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR). The proposed Dholera International Airport near Navagam, about 20 km (12 mi) from Dholera SIR will also lie in the route.
The Ahmedabad-Dholera greenfield expressway is a part of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) and is expected to be ready by 2024.

That sounds great! ... I wish it happens ASAP.. But let me correct you there a little bit... India has already got a world class city... Come to chandigarh someday.. It's not just a becnchmark for cities in India but globally.. Consistently among the cleanest and happiest cities in the country.. Proud to be living in a smart city since childhood 😅😅i hope cities like dholera get to the same level ASAP.. Our country needs it desperately.

@@alkeshpatel8469 bro you can check on several major indicies.. Chandigarh is the cleanest, happiest, wealthiest city in the country.. Most well planned and globally recognized as a pinnacle of urban planning.. By far the only world class city in the country..other cities like gurugram, bengaluru may have small pockets which are better than chandigarh but when you look as an average chandigarh is way better...

Its good but instead Government should focus on more traffic prone roads. Construct Ahmedabad Rajkot Expressway and then extend it until Veraval, construct Ahmedabad Abu Road expressway, Bharuch Dahej expressway, extend Ahmedabad Vadodara expressway all the way until Vapi or Daman!
I mean literally handful of people would use Ahmedabad Dholera expressway for 5-7 years but the above mentioned routes are highly traffic prone and people are fed up with using 2 lane highways full of potholes and lack of access control.

very slow project .. last 3 years we are seeing this project will be ready in next 1 year , still it will take another 2 year to complete it
