Jazzy you won’t probably read this BUT I recently died my hair ginger and seeing another women of color with colored hair make me feel more confident ❤️(being a black girl who is really self conscious made my social anxiety go UP when I went out bc it’s very unusual where I live)

im picking up guitar again bc my bf does too!! and definitely learn songs that you enjoy listening to a lot. ive never bothered to learn random songs just bc they have a G chord for beginners and stuff like that. whenever i listen to music i always imagine myself as a cool little rock star & i make a list of those songs so i can learn them in the future :] my first song im learning is school by nirvana and i love listening to it, so its much more enjoyable to learn and play!! good luck playing!! :D

@@fairoadiary Hi I started teaching myself guitar over the past year, and I would say use TH-cam videos because it’s much easier to learn from an actual person who know what they’re talking about, and then it becomes easier to learn the chords and patterns yourself:) I also use the app Guitar tabs which shows the positions of the fingers for each chord which is super helpful, but the main thing is patience lol, it takes me so freaking long to learn the easiest song but by the end its really rewarding!
@@fairoadiary im a baby at this too lol but i have some tips!! watch live performances, learn how to read tabs, and learn songs that you know the sound of pretty much by heart & get stuck in your head a lot. also it obviously helps to learn basic chords, barring, power chords, etc. youtube tutorials help too! i recommend marty music’s lessons, theyre very helpful and hes got some good nirvana lessons that im starting with (he also just has a great variety of lessons in general). also i recommend picking up or ordering a capo! it helps to play many more songs. i hope this helps :D

@@kayzzzzzzzzz you put a capo on any fret of the fretboard to change the key higher. you dont have to manually change the tuning of the strings

i have invisalign and it’s amazing and pretty painless 4 me, highly recommend!
same. i had braces all through middle school but stupid little me didn't wear the retainer in eigth grade so now i need braces again. But my mom refuses to pay for braces again which is understandable, so when i go off to college in a couple years, I'm just gonna get invisalign.
