- In this video, we hike from Bison Way trailhead to the Indian Staircase, Council Chamber, Indian Arch, Adena Arch & Cloudsplitter within the Red River Gorge. This section is one of the best hikes within the Red River Gorge in Kentucky and this video will provide an overview of what to expect.

We were scared at one point she wouldn’t make it! These areas were a lot of fun to hike through. The view from Cloudsplitter is amazing!!

For a smaller crew, that was a lot of hikers. Looked like fun. The rock overhangs were awesome! Great place to explore! PTL!
There were 27 TH-camrs at the meet up. Only a handful left camp at Hansons Point to hike in these areas. This place is where thousands of climbers 🧗♀️ go as there are so many options. Great times in the gorge!

Always love going up to cloudsplitter especially during a nice sunset, we always like to go through the unmarked trail though to get up it instead of bison way but its always a lot of fun

I just did Indian Staircase this past Saturday, and video does not do it justice. Scariest thing ive ever done. 15mph winds dont help either. Great video!

Definitely one of the best places in the Res River Gorge. We were there right for the beginning of the change of the leaves. Beautiful area.

Cloud splitter looks like an awesome hike! Ropes and rock scrambling! That was a pretty cool tree with all the roots. That tunnel at the end looked pretty cool as well! Thanks for sharing 😁
You guys would live this place! It’s a bit of a drive, but the views and trails and incredible. Plus, you can hike and film multiple trails in one visit. Hope to hike with you again soon my friends!
cloud splitter is an amazing place to visit, however it has basically turned into disney world for hiking..so many people, that it just hasn't been fun to visit any longer.
Ok - have to admit - the dog shooting up the rock face made us smile! Super cool - lol! Looks like a challenging but awesomely rewarding trail! Saw quite a few familiar faces as well! We didn’t think Ruby was going to make it! There were a few hikers in this video and I’m blessed to call them friends! That view is one for the books but nothing compared to what you two get to see. You two are going to some pretty incredible places!
A few of my favorite spots. Looks like the rope at Cloud Splitter is in a different location than last time I was there. Did you explore the cave? Enjoyed the video.
Yep. They put two ropes up, but it’s at your own risk. Guess that old tree at the top snapped. Didn’t get to the cave. Wish I did! Hope to see you there next year!

How did you get to cloud splitter??? I hiked this route with a friend in august. We got to the top of Indian staircase and circled the gorge, then reached that cave type shelter you went in. We kept following the path but somehow ended up circling back to the bisonway trailhead? Not sure how we missed cloud splitter but we were just happy we didn't get lost
After we reached the top, we continued to the left for a few miles which eventually led us to the path.
You went to cloudsplitter and didn’t go into the rock house?
