I just returned two pairs of silver shoes because they just weren't "me". I thought they would go with everything (and technically they did) but I felt as though I had neon signs on my feet where all you noticed was the shoes! I ended up buying a pair of minimal pewter sandals that were a nod to the metallic trend but felt more in tune with my style.
This was such a fun video! I love the look of chain belts myself, I would just make sure that any you consider are stainless steel/waterproof, basically good material so they withstand the wear and tear. Sending love A, God bless!❤
I have a pair of silver flats as well as silver sneakers that go with all my cool tone outfits. I also have a pair of gold sneakers that i love very much and they add a little something to my basic outfits 😊
Hi Adeline, at one stage the strappy/tie up sandals were on my summer wish list! They look so elegant and chic for the summer wardrobe. One day I pulled the trigger and bought a black & brown pair (as I couldn’t decide which one I preferred) long story short - I returned both! I couldn’t be bothered doing the tying up and maintaining the “look” as they will slide down plus my legs are on the athletic side 😅 so now I stick to slip ons 😅
I got a pair of Onitsuka Tigers in burgundy last summer and LOVE them. They suit a narrower foot well. The silver would tempt me if I didn’t already have silver sneakers.
I have the Emme Parsons Bari Sandals. They are comfortable and sturdy but I will say they are a bit heavy. The Reformation sandals are not good quality and not comfortable. Thanks for the video!
Hi Adeline, I've had a pair of silver leather spring loafers for 4 years now and get such a lot of wear out of them as they go with nearly everything. I like the idea or a snakeskin belt. Going to have a look around for one. Thanks.
Madewell has a woven ballerina with a strap in a light brown color for a little less than the LR which you might also like. But I think I like their chocolate raisin version with solid leather even more....maybe for fall. Edit: Arket have a really nice pair of strappy sandals online that are a more dressy version of the Havaianas. If you're still undecided ;)
I have been eyeing up some vivia black ballet flats for over a year now. Got a pair in orange a few years ago and they r super comfy but not the most versatile colour
I feel like the Emme sandals are very very dupeable. I feel like I see these types everywhere. You should definitely take a good look around because those (Emme’s) seem too expensive for how simple they are.

I had a similar experience with gold loafers many years ago😅
Sometimes you just have to try it to know for sure!

hahah that's fair enough, and definitely something to think about with tie up sandals!
@@AdelineLoke ✌🏼😬just trying to help
Makeup is on point 👌🏾
🥰 thank you
I have a snake print belt in a taupe color and I wear it quite a bit. You’re right, it’s the perfect amount of snake print!
Good to know that you wear yours a lot... it is helping to justify my purchase 😉

I'm going to Japan later this summer... I'm so tempted to buy a pair!
Could you share the jewelry you're wearing? and/or make a jewelry collection video? :)
I've got the silver Onitsuka and it is one of the prettiest and very chic trainers! I love them! Very comfy and definitely elevates any outfit!
Stop! You're making me want them more!! 😆
I have been looking at the Emme Parsons sandals for years too. Alyssa Beltempo says they are great. Maybe I will take the plunge too. :)
I’ve been looking for some black strappy sandals that are also comfortable and can’t find what I like! Thanks for sharing!
Hope this helped xx
I have the woven leather Altica bag in dark brown, absolutely love it! The medium size is perfect for a shoulder bag
That is so good to know! It's been on my wishlist for months now !

Thank you for the tip on the Emme Parsons sandals. Is the sole very hard or can you bend your foot in them?
Not surprised about Ref shoes :(
@@AdelineLoke Of course. the sole is hard but they bend just a bit. I hope that helps.
You look lovely, Adeline! Could you link the brown knit that you are wearing please? 😊
Thank you. It's from COS but I got it a while ago x

I love love love the idea of a metallic loafer! I'd probably wear that more than a mary jane actually!
@@AdelineLoke definitely. I wear mine at least 3 times a week, if not more.

I'm not sure if Madewell ship to the UK? I'll have to check. Thank you for recommending them! Also going to check out the Arket pair 👀
I think $200-400 for that on-trend ballet flat and minimal sandal is kinda overpriced. It is a no for me 😅
Fair enough!
what method do you use to create a wishlist from different brands?
I just use my notes app! But I'm thinking of creating something a bit more substantial (maybe on Notion) and sharing it x

Orange shoes are quite out there 🤣
@@AdelineLoke ha ha yeah I suppose they are 😂
On my wish list is a denim bustier playsuit like the one by designer Rowen rose, which is beautifully made, but oh my god the price!
I just looked it up... £800!! I hope you can find something similar for less money 😅
Love your brown sweater vest you’re wearing! Where’s it from?
It's from COS but about a year or 2 ago. xx
You look lovely with a bright lip.
Aw thank you. x

They do seem expensive you're right. You'd hope that the quality of the Emme Parsons ones would be top notch!
