      Just recently subscribed. Been binge-watching your videos. So helpful, all the tips. Question: what's the best way to determine if the company you work for will be ok to pitch the new product or to leave first and pitch to the employer? Or may be, not even consider them as investor, if you feel it in your gut that they will not be interested. How to know if they will be interested to invest? Or will they misread it as something that competes against their business, even if it's not. So many questions in my head on this. Want to know before I even start.

    00:01 Building SaaS from scratch in 8 steps
    01:57 Building an audience is less important when launching a SaaS app.
    03:38 Start with a problem or multiple problems to solve.
    05:27 Evaluate your solution using the 5 PM idea evaluation framework
    07:17 Validate your SaaS idea before building it
    09:04 Building a minimum viable product as the final step
    10:53 Validation increases certainty in building a SaaS product
    12:39 Start showing the SaaS to people you had conversations with. Iterate based on their feedback.

    Hi!
    Do you think SaaS companies would benefit from a community funnel? Basically I'd come in build systems to get members, nurture and convert.
    It would be a one time fee for the same. What do you think?

    • @MicroConf
      @MicroConf  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Communities can be great, but they are a lot of work. A one-time fee would not make sense as there is a lot of ongoing work to make a community successful.

    what coding languages would you recommend to know to build a SaaS

      Generally, I recommend using what you know and are efficient in. • @MicroConf

      I tried to validate an idea called College Coach Finder. I mention it in Start Small, Stay Small. I couldn’t generate enough interest in the landing page so I never built it.

    Can we develop SaaS as a side project in a niché that's slow to technological changes?

    • @MicroConf
      @MicroConf  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can, but you might be playing on hard mode. I would first consider how you are going to be able to get in front of your potential customers. How will you find them? How will they find you?

    In 1 of mr beasts recent tik toks he says one of his keys is giving the people what they want at the beginning of the video. I'm 3 minutes in and all that's been talked about so far is whether or not i was lucky enough to have a network or audience. No tips or steps on building a saas. Neeeeeeext
