Thank you so much! I tried to time everything to the first and final hit, so it would seem musically "in sync" with the action. And music was themed for each floor too.
I just started playing ZZZ and fell in love with how smooth Billy is to play. All the flips and counters in this video is exactly why he's so cool! If you don't mind me asking, I noticed sometimes you did a rolling shot + straight shot combo even when not dodging anything. Why? Repositioning?
Depends on when you mean, without a timestamp I'm not sure. It is likely I was anticipating an attack and reflexively dodging to be safe, cause getting hit means I restart the floor. However, the animation for Rolling Shot can be cancelled with a Dodge Attack, Special, or Ult. Using this cancel is the fastest way to get into a crouching stance from standing, and gives more damage, since we begin attacking sooner. (Example at 14:53) It's also more damage even when crouching since we are trading away the animation for Rolling Shot for moves that deal damage. For the Tower, this isn't as important because we are not trying to clear as fast as we can, but is an important tool for Billy's DPS. This is why I didn't use this frequently, since I tried to keep myself mentally focused on watching the enemy instead of maximizing my DPS. If you want to use EX Special, you can use Rolling Shot to align yourself with multiple enemies without exiting a crouching state. It is also likely I was repositioning, depending on the enemy. Since Billy is a ranged Agent, his damage will "fall-off", or decrease, the further away he is going from 100% damage dealt to 75%, 50%, and 25% with some shots missing. Cancelling Rolling Shot could mean I keep myself within a 100% or 75% damage area without putting myself in danger.
@@YojimboBlade Wow, thank you for the in-depth reply! I think what I was seeing was the animation cancels, it makes sense now. I've been trying this out (mostly going into Crouching Shot faster since I don't have the cinema that makes them real dodges) and it's definitely better. It's not only faster, but Billy doesn't fling himself halfway across the arena away from enemies, haha. Thank you for answering my question!
@@MereleFereleif you watch other players players clear Shiyu, it's more obvious, check out some of Flaminski's videos. An example of canceling the animation using a Special is at 28:46, and pretty much after every Chain Attack, I used EX Special to cancel into crouching.
Of course! Depends on what your teams look like. Piper is better than Billy because Piper's best teams are overall stronger than Billy's, but those teams often use limited 5* characters. Both are good, but I would give the edge to Piper because she's easier to build in endgame, play, and has stronger teams. However, in regards to Mindscapes, Piper really wants her M1-2, since that's contains a lot of her damage. If played and built optimally, neither will disappoint, so it's really whatever you feel comfortable playing. Billy can get away with just using Nicole + any Agent who will improve his damage. And Piper can similarly play with Lucy + another support like Seth or Anomaly Agent. Take care!
As a Billy main, I approve! 👍
Thank you so much!
Yay! Another Billy main! 😃
Congratulations on winning 3rd prize in "New Eridu Blazing Battle", well deserved! o7
the power rangers song really fits billy he is a starlight knight at heart after all
This alongside flaminski has convinced me to become a billy main
I have to say this is mighty impressive on how you played Billy, and the music choices are all brilliant props to you, dude 👏

The Lost Galaxy + Kyurangers themes are chef's kiss, man. Absolutely amazing gameplay too!
Thank you! The music for floor 26 was purposely Sentai Galaxy-themed, for our Starlight Knight fanboy.
Not gonna lie, this is very impressive. Great job.
Thanks, glad you like it!
This is so cool! Love your gameplay!
Thanks! I've released some more recent videos too if you are interested.
Hell yeah
Glad you like it!
Sick.
Thank you!

Zenless Zone Zero but Dark Souls
Floor 29 is basically Giant Archer of the Undead Settlement.
@ ngl, that crap is harder than floor 30 man
@@supercool_alexyt maybe, but with Billy it's pretty fun.
Everyday I ask myself why I didn’t save up to get a brimstone engine
Don't worry, you'll save up eventually.
😂 amazing
Thanks! Definitely took a while, but I enjoyed editing it.
can u guys give me some advice? I just started to play zzz, should i build my m2 Billy as my main dps or should build my m0 piper?
Of course!
