A 1970s group; Society of Seven. I'll love you through it all. In the good or bad times. How many persons can actually say this? Too many losses? We all did. Been there, shook off self, came back stronger, found that someone. You can too.
Jun Polistico's swann song with the Society Of Seven; - I told him a while back that he really changed the culture of the group w/his life-like impressions of famous singers and gave them a younger look, sound and swagger. He's almost the forgotten "front man" between Roberto Nievera's & Gary Bautista's tenures but, - not for me. The Sinatra phrasing, Nat Cole's impeccable pitch and the smooth baritone of the insider's choice Matt Monro all combined made Jun my all-time favorite lead singer for the SOS.
I loved this group. Got to meet them in Honolulu in 1983. I had a big crush on June Polistico and when he sang this song, I would melt. I must have worn out my 45 playing it over and over. They were such a fun group.
I love The Society of Seven. I saw them several times while Jun Polistico was featured. I hear this song and cry and think of the great time my and I had in Hawaii . Thanks for putting this on. I have a 45 with the song but my stereo is kaput.
